The decision process used by the Air Force Flight Dynamics Laboratory (AFFDL) is 'modeled' to show the present and possible future interrelationships between human factors and computer calculations. A method is described for objectively evaluating the 'transfer function' or 'model behavior' of the computerized poriton of this overall decision process with respect ot futurity, timing, risk, uncertainty, payoff values other than profits, and image. These behavior characteristics were determined for the AFFDL based on an evaluation of historical data. (Author).
