This book was released on 2023-09-28 with total page 218 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The chapters below are the analysis of each day’s price movement. It is highly technical in nature and my reports are based on the charts. Usually, I start with the 5mts candle and call out any anomaly or unusual patterns. Then I take up the 1hr chart to see if it fits into the broader trend. The trading style I follow scans for the market direction and play along. For example, if the markets are falling - I still prefer to short CALLS. Agreed the premiums in CEs would have dropped once the index makes its move - but I feel it is in sync with my risk profile. Also, I prefer to wait for the volatility to pick up before selling options. On each expiry day - I bring up the weekly analysis to comment on how that index behaved in the last week. And on the last expiry of the month - I bring up the monthly chart. Nifty is discussed first followed by Banknifty. On Tuesdays I bring up the FinNifty charts. Since we have one or the other index expiring daily - most of the trades are done to take advantage of that. I guess the market participants are growing in huge numbers to play expiry - a situation similar to gambling is happening. Strongly advise to do your own research and deploy strategies that are inline with your risk management.
Book Synopsis Long-Term Ecological Research by : Michael R. Willig
Download or read book Long-Term Ecological Research written by Michael R. Willig and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2016-04-12 with total page 465 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) Program is, in a sense, an experiment to transform the nature of science, and represents one of the most effective mechanisms for catalyzing comprehensive site-based research that is collaborative, multidisciplinary, and long-term in nature. The scientific contributions of the Program are prodigious, but the broader impacts of participation have not been examined in a formal way. This book captures the consequences of participation in the Program on the perspectives, attitudes, and practices of environmental scientists. The edited volume comprises three sections. The first section includes two chapters that provide an overview of the history, goals, mission, and inner workings of the LTER network of sites. The second section comprises three dozen retrospective essays by scientists, data managers or educators who represent a broad spectrum of LTER sites from deserts to tropical forests and from arctic to marine ecosystems. Each essay addresses the same series of probing questions to uncover the extent to which participation has affected the ways that scientists conduct research, educate students, or provide outreach to the public. The final section encompasses 5 chapters, whose authors are biophysical scientists, historians, behavioral scientists, or social scientists. This section analyzes, integrates, or synthesizes the content of the previous chapters from multiple perspectives and uncovers emergent themes and future directions.

Book Synopsis Returns and Volatility Linkages of Nifty 50 with Major World Indices by : Md Mobashshir Hussain
Download or read book Returns and Volatility Linkages of Nifty 50 with Major World Indices written by Md Mobashshir Hussain and published by . This book was released on 2019 with total page 10 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The present study examines the linkages between equity indices of India, US, UK, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. Cointegration analysis of Johansen-Juselius with daily data from January 2008 to December 2018 suggests that there is one cointegrating vector as per the Trace statistic. Also, results of pairwise cointegration test indicate that India is cointegrated with US and China. Results of granger causality reveal that past returns of stock index in one country influence future returns in other countries, except for India-US, India-UK, Hong Kong-India and Japan-India. Results of granger causality on conditional variance series show there is two-way volatility spillovers between the markets of India-US and India-Japan. Also, there is unidirectional volatility spillover from India to Hong Kong. The findings of the present study have useful implications for economist, money managers and investors.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: India is taken into account a high potential investment destination all-over the world even though it has some challenges like political, social, cultural complexities.Wide literature survey is available on the macroeconomic factors affecting the Indian stock market volatility. There is a general belief on macroeconomic variable affects the functioning of stock market and its volatility (PallaviKudal 2010). In developing countries like India stock markets are sensitive to change in the macroeconomic variable. It is presumed that domestic economic fundamentals affect performance of the stock market but the changes in domestic variables may occur due to the changes in the global environment. This stimulates the researcher to find out whether the macroeconomic variable changes create any volatility in the Indian stock market. This study used the average monthly closing price of Nifty 50 from June 2000 to December 2016 and the average monthly data of 12 macroeconomic variables for analyzing, which factors influence the performance of Nifty 50 in India. In this study the selected variables are grouped into three factors by using factor analysis and named as macro environment factors, industrial performance factor and policy rates. The empirical result shows that macro environments and industrial performance factors are used to predict the variance in Nifty 50.

This book was released on 2021-09-14 with total page 688 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The conference on ‘Interdisciplinary Research in Technology and Management” was a bold experiment in deviating from the traditional approach of conferences which focus on a specific topic or theme. By attempting to bring diverse inter-related topics on a common platform, the conference has sought to answer a long felt need and give a fillip to interdisciplinary research not only within the technology domain but across domains in the management field as well. The spectrum of topics covered in the research papers is too wide to be singled out for specific mention but it is noteworthy that these papers addressed many important and relevant concerns of the day.
