Book excerpt: When associated with rising factional discord, the increased hostility from the Left resonates a violence that is becoming a clear and present danger. This paper will provide an estimate of the current situation that transcends well-travelled two-party political narratives. The objective is to provide a strategic understanding of the Left that baselines the current situation to enable directionality, predictability, and actionability. To that end, the estimate will use a political warfare analysis to reframe the political environment in order to provide timely anticipatory situational awareness in support of decision-making.National policy has come under the influence of constructed narratives that mainstream and conservative leaders neither understand nor control. Lacking situational awareness to recognize the operational nature of information campaigns directed against national policy, responses tend to be tactically limited and predictably reactive along scripted action-reaction cycles built into the operational sequencing of information campaigns controlled by the Left. These powerful but misunderstood narratives drive policy. At their core, these narratives are not American. Rather, they are dialectically driven Neo-Marxist memes that infuse mass line efforts operating at the cultural level intent on powering down into the political space. This furthers the Left's political warfare effort to impose conformance resulting in the non-enforcement of laws by those tasked with their oversight and enforcement. As these narratives transition into prevailing cultural memes, non-enforcement becomes institutionalized and enforced by an opposition that increasingly comes under the control of those narratives. As such, for the Left, political organizations like Congress become vehicles to execute lines of effort in an execution matrix along which information campaigns are executed from outside and above.

Their seeds of a pre-ordained organic philosophy were planted to upbring young sprouts to destroy the America republic and rebuild from that rubble the next Marxist country. The unrelenting pressures to indoctrinate children with the Marxist family of totalitarian ideologies that promises to ‘free the child’ comes to communities under various guises. The allure of promises made in the name of fairness, equity, tolerance and more recent of social justice has drawn a large percentage of millennials to socialism. Behind the race baited mantras, metro regional government is working for the eventual transformation of schools as learning centers staffed with soviet councils to transform neighborhoods into self-sustaining eco-villages. Children will be socialized as activists for their community to install Fascist green agendas, paired with Marxist social justice.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How do you find a book when you can't recall the title...or the author? This homage to a common reader's dilemma is a gift the booklover in your life won't soon forget. Readers know all too well the comedy and tragedy of forgetting the name of a must-find book. Inspired by this torturous predicament, artist Marina Luz creates paintings of books based on the descriptions we use when we can't remember their titles—mining Internet book-search forums for the quirky, vague, and often hilarious language we come up with in these moments. This volume collects dozens of these imaginary books into a library all their own: Titles like "Cat, Possibly Named Henry," "It Was All a Dream," or "Something-Something, Beverly Hills" inspire dreaming up their contents, often as entertaining as trying to guess the real book behind them. A celebration of book love unlike any other, this petite book is a clever gift for bibliophiles that will spark knowing smiles. PERFECT GIFT FOR BOOKLOVERS: The collection will spark recognition for everyone who has encountered this phenomenon (so, virtually every reader) and especially those who have worked in a bookstore, who know intimately well how often this dilemma arises. This impulse-priced delight is an excellent way to make book-loving friends feel seen. A UNIQUE APPRECIATION OF BOOK LOVE: This is a loving tribute to the wonderful and bizarre ways that books leave impressions on our souls, if not always perfectly in our memories. It's a fun and fresh appreciation of bibliophilia that still delivers long after the first read. Perfect for: • Bibliophiles • Booksellers • People seeking gifts for the booklovers in their life

Book excerpt: Who could have been so cruel as to do away with poor Vivian Lambert? And why oh why couldn’t she just stay dead? In a rustic, idyllic English village, on a summer’s day, in the midst of a carefree tennis party, a fragile, needy child, left too much on her own, vanishes from her family’s front garden. Years pass and the mystery persists: an enduring torment for the teenage Christine Gray, the last person to see Vivian alive. Perhaps if she’d shown the girl a little kindness, and seen her safely home, Vivian might still be with them? Yet when someone claiming to be a grown-up Vivian returns to the land of the living, the enigma seems only to deepen, threatening to consume the wicked and innocent alike. Equal parts The Turn of the Screw, Picnic at Hanging Rock, and gothic thriller, Twice Lost was admired by such authors as Elizabeth Bowen, Rebecca West, and John Cowper Powys—yet the strange, haunting novels of Phyllis Paul are themselves a mystery with no simple solution. Virtually lost to time even before her death, her novels have been out of print for more than fifty years, and fetch fantastic prices in the rare book trade.

Book excerpt: Volume One of Problems and Materials in Evidence and Trial Advocacy contains two relatively detailed case files, quite similar to the material a trial lawyer may have as he or she approaches trial. The first file is a murder case, where the issue is the identity of the killer and the defendant is the estranged husband of the victim. The second file is a civil action for defamation brought by a former employee against her very wealthy employer. The cases are designed to raise realistic and challenging issues in trial theory and practice and in the law of evidence. The book is designed to be used with Volume II of Problems and Materials, which contains over three hundred problems in Evidence and over sixty exercises in Trial Advocacy based on the files.
