Download or read book RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: THEORY & TECHNIQUES written by RAJESH. E and published by Xoffencerpublication. This book was released on 2023-05-25 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Research is a that is used to collect new information in order to fulfil certain goals. The findings of the research make it possible for us to organize all of this newly acquired information into a logical structure, which can be thought of as a collection of concepts that are interconnected with one another and that can both explain what has already occurred and predict what might occur in the future. When conducting out research, it is essential to do things in the order that has been established beforehand. The specific order of events and procedures takes on some slender alterations according to the nature of the research being carried out. The techniques take on a slightly different flavor depending on whether the data and methodology used into the study are quantitative or qualitative in nature. The word "research" is made up of the two syllables "re" and "seek," which were combined to make the word. The former is a prefix that might signify again, a new, or over again, whereas the latter is a verb that can mean to examine carefully and in great detail, to test and try, or to investigate. You may find the definitions of both of these terms in the dictionary. The concept of "research" can be disassembled into its component parts, the most fundamental of which are the hunt for facts, the pursuit of responses to research questions, and the investigation of possible remedies to an existing problem. When we speak of "research," we are referring to an investigation that is critical, methodical, and governed by empirical data. This study investigates assertions that have been made about a possible connection between several different occurrences. Research can be defined as a structured investigation into a subject area with the intention of identifying answers to problems. The conclusion that we are able to arrive at is that the term "research" refers to the methodical procedure that includes elaborating on the problem, developing a hypothesis, gathering the facts or data, conducting an analysis of the facts, and arriving at certain conclusions, which can either take the form of potential solutions to the problem at hand or certain generalizations for some theoretical formulation. We are able to come to this conclusion because we have the ability to draw the connection between these steps

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Great companies don’t just depend on strategies—they depend on people. The more great people on your team, the more successful your organization will be. But that’s easier said than done. Statistically, half of all employment decisions result in a mishire: The wrong person winds up in the wrong job. But companies that have followed Bradford Smart’s advice in Topgrading have boosted their successful hiring rate to 90 percent or better, giving them an unbeatable competitive advantage. Now Smart has fully revised his 1999 management classic to reintroduce the topgrading concept, which works for companies large and small in any industry. The author spells out his practical approach to finding and managing A-level talent—as well as coaching B players to turn them into A players. He provides intriguing case studies drawn from more than four thousand in-depth interviews. As Smart writes in his introduction, “All organizations, all businesses live or die mostly on their talent, and any manager who fails to topgrade is nuts, or a C player. . . . Those who, way deep down, would sooner see an organization die than nudge an incompetent person out of a job should not read this book... Topgrading is for A players and all those aspiring to be A players.” On the web: http://www.topgrading.com/
