Eine Gefährdung, die sich sowohl durch ihre Bandbreite der Chancenminimierung, also durch ihre Tiefe der psycho-sozialen Beeinträchtigung auszeichnet. Die vorliegende Hausarbeit befasst sich mit diesem Thema in erster Linie aus der Sicht der psychotherapeutischen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten, setzt sich aber auch aus anderen Blickwinkeln mit ihm auseinander. So wird zunächst ein Überblick skizziert, der Auskunft über Anzahl traumatisierender Kriegsschauplätze gibt; der darstellt auf welche Art und Wiese und wie häufig Kinder und Jugendliche in Kriegshandlungen involviert sind und der schließlich über die Aufgaben der Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapie Aussagen zulässt. (Kapitel 2) Im folgenden werden traumatische Erfahrungen definiert, welche Reaktionen, d.h. welche Symptome eine Traumatisierung ersichtlich machen; die Schwierigkeit der Symptomerkennung und des darüber Sprechens werden genauso dargestellt wie die multiplen Belastungen für Kinder und Jugendliche, die eine kriegstraumatische Erfahrung mit sich bringt. (Kapitel 3) Das Kapitel 4 befasst sich mit den durch Kriegstraumatisierung möglichen, hervorgerufenen psychopathologischen Störungen, u.a. mit der der Posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung. Er interessiert sich sehr für den Aufbau und die Funktion von Handys, mobilen Festnetz Anlagen und Computern. Er selbst besitzt ebenfalls ein Handy, das er immer bei sich trägt und anderen Personen präsentiert. Thomas’ Familie ist oft umgezogen was zur Folge hat, dass er sich nirgends richtig zu Hause fühlt. Er hat Schwierigkeiten auf Personen zuzugehen und sich auf sie einzulassen. Sich anderen Personen anzuvertrauen, über seine Probleme zu reden oder Erlebnisse aufzuarbeiten fällt ihm besonders schwer. Thomas findet keinen richtigen Weg zum kommunizieren. In der Schule fällt Thomas dadurch auf, dass er versucht durch Quatsch Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zu lenken. Er wird oft aggressiv, wodurch er auch in Konflikt mit vielen Lehrern und Schülern gerät.
