Immediately after the declaration of war by America the French Protestant Committee sent to the Publicity Department of the Federal Council of the Churches of Christ in America a letter for publication in the Protestant papers of this country, expressing joy in the fellowship of the two nations, now allied in the same great cause, and suggesting an interchange of newspapers and periodicals to the end that each country might learn to understand the other more perfectly.
