Book excerpt: This book is second in the series on Quranic Tafsir focusing on Prophets and Prophethood. The Quran has presented all the Prophets as role models for humanity, describing their actions and various aspects of life as manifestation of timeless principles upon which foundation of human life must be laid. This book explores the Quranic description of three Prophets - Hazrat Nooh, Hud and Saleh (a.s). Their lives collectively represent a specific era during which humanity simultaneously experienced unprecedented material achievements followed by destructive punishment in the form of Azab. The discussions taken up in this book not only elucidate specific events in the lives of these Prophets but also offer an analytical inquiry into the reasons those nations incurred annihilating Azab. It also delves into illustrating the pitfalls that must be avoided in every era to achieve prosperity and salvation. We hope that this book will find acceptance in the Presence of Almighty and His Hujjat, and that it will benefit the momineen by enhancing their insight into Quranic message.

He is a highly important figure in Islamic tradition, as he is counted amongst the earliest prophets sent by God to mankind. According to Islam, Noah's mission was to save a wicked world, plunged in depravity and sin. God charged Prophet Noah (Nuh) with the duty of preaching to his people to make them abandon idolatry and to worship only the One Creator and to live good and pure lives. Although he preached the Message of God with immense zeal, his people refused to mend their ways, leading to his building of the Ark and the famous event of the Deluge, the Great Flood in which all the evil people of his time perished. Noah's preaching and prophet-hood spanned 950 years according to Quran. Prophet Noah's mission had a double character: he had to warn his people, asking them to call for repentance and, at the same time, he had to preach about God's mercy and forgiveness, promising them the glad tidings God would provide if they led righteous lives. References to Noah are scattered throughout the Qur'an, and there is even an entire sura carrying his name, Noah.

Noah's mission had a double character: he had to warn his people, asking them to call for repentance and, at the same time, he had to preach about God's mercy and forgiveness, promising them the glad tidings God would provide if they led righteous lives. References to Noah are scattered throughout the Quran, and there is even an entire surah carrying his name, Noah. Little is known of Noah's personal history before his call to prophecy. However, tradition records him to have been the son of Lamech and grandson of Methuselah, one of the patriarchs from the Generations of Adam. Noah was neither the leader of the tribe nor a very rich man but, even before being called to prophecy, he worshiped God faithfully and was, in the words of the Qur'an, "a devotee most grateful." He was a prophet, sent to warn mankind of that region and his people to change their ways. He conveyed the message for over 950 years.

Book excerpt: In the course of his twenty-five years of exile, Badī’uzzaman suffered three terms of imprisonment together with varying numbers of his students, and the treatises he wrote during each of these he later included in the Risāla-i Nūr. In The Rays Collection are “fruits” from all three of his sojourns in the Madrasa-i Yûsufiya, as he called prison, recalling the unjust imprisonment of Joseph (UWP) and that prison is essentially a place of education and training. The Second Ray was the final fruit of Eskişehir Prison (1935-’36), while The Eleventh Ray has as its name Meyve Risalesi, The Fruits of Belief, and was written for his fellow prisoners in Denizli Prison (1943-’44). It consists of eleven Topics, which offer irrefutable proofs of the six main pillars of faith. The last two of the Topics, however, were written in Emirdağ, Badī’uzzaman’s place of compulsory resi dence after Emirdağ.

It came about naturally when ideas were pouring in my brain. I enjoyed writing this book and it amazed me when I realized, how beautifully it became at the end. I believe firmly that, I was guided by Allah in this journey and not Shaitan. I had personally realized that my life and personality had changed in a positive way when I implemented the knowledge I gained from this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Religious leaders and reformers have always had a hard time in their day. They have been ridiculed and rejected and many of those who supposedly accepted them have been either weak in spirit or manifest enemies in disguise. Subsequent generations of the faithful have clashed in their understanding of the master’s teachings, spawning the rise of different interpretations. Moses and Jesus were troubled not only by their enemies but also by weak people among the faithful. Islam was not destined to fare much better. Historical accuracy was sacrificed to meet the needs of a divided community. And in due course, Islam’s sacred scripture, essentially a compilation of revelations to Muhammad, was hijacked by literalists, who distorted its message. A Closer Look at Islam attempts to show that the arguments of some critics are based largely on misinformation and that Islam would be better understood by a more serious study of its scripture and the lives of some of its role models. It also discusses poorly based conjectures that Muhammad was more myth than fact and the arguments of prominent atheists about the existence of a Supreme Creator.

Book excerpt: After Prophet Adam, the human society had become corruptive and evil. Most of the people did not think much about Allah and there was much unmoral spread throughout the earth. They worshipped and served strange gods gave in to the evils of Satan, and therefore Allah sent Prophet Noah to guide them. Prophet Noah was a very well-spoken, wise and tolerant person. "We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day!" (Quran 7:59). The people of Noah dwelt in that part of earth, which is now Iraq. He invited his people towards Allah but they turned their faces away from him. He warned them with the wrath of Allah, but they turned a deaf ear to his warning. He even tried to convince them to do good deeds for a well-earned reward from Allah, but they would not hear him. The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." (Quran 7:60). They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." (Quran 26:116). With a lot of patience and determination, Prophet Noah continued his mission of guiding his people. He used the best means to preach for the mission of his Prophethood among the people and whenever needed he invited people to his call. He drew their attention to the mysteries of the universe and the wonders of the world. He used to tell them that these dark nights, the heavens, the moon, the dazzling sun, the earth, the flowing rivers and the streams are all indicating the signs of His Greatness - Allah. A small group of people accepted his Prophethood, but others did not and instead decided to torture him. Prophet Noah lived and preached for hundreds of years and bore all the hardships and difficulties from the hands of his people with courage. When Prophet Noah realized that the people had become hopeless and there was no use of giving them any reasoning, his patience exhausted, And Noah said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers a single one on earth! For if You do leave (any of) them they will mislead Your devotees and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones." (Quran 71:26-27) It was revealed to Noah: "None of your people will believe except those who have believed already! So grieve no longer over their (evil) deeds. "But construct an Ark under Our eyes and Our inspiration, and address Me no (further) on behalf of those who are in sin: for they are about to be overwhelmed (in the Flood)." (Quran 11:36-37) Prophet Noah in order to accomplish this divine task selected a place outside the town and started his work of building the Ark. People started scoffing and ridiculing him. Forthwith he (starts) constructing the Ark: Every time that the chiefs of his people passed by him, they threw ridicule on him. He said: "If you ridicule us now, we (in our turn) can look down on you with ridicule likewise! (Quran 11:38) Prophet Noah paid no heed to their mocking and sarcastic remarks, but instead got himself busy in making the ark and waited for a next command from Allah. Almighty Allah then sent his revelation: At length behold! There came Our command and the fountains of the earth gushed forth! We said: "Board therein of each kind, two male and female and your family - except those against whom the word has already gone forth - and the Believers." But only a few believed with him. (Quran 11:40) Then suddenly it started raining heavily and streams of water erupted from the ground. The hillocks became submerged under water. Water spread everywhere covering the deserted places and the mountains. Prophet Noah proceeded towards the ark and took all those about whom Allah had ordained him inside the ark.So We opened the gates of heaven with water pouring forth.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book reveals that over the millennia the revealed knowledge has evolved in accordance with the advancement of the human civilization. Accordingly by the advent of the Prophet Muhammad, it has been updated for the rest of the humanity till end of the world. Hence the prophet Hood has reached its peak and Muhammad remains the seal of the prophets till end of the world. The knowledge of revelation, endowed to the mankind remains over and above to their knowledge acquired through the instincts and the intuition. The purpose of the revealed knowledge is that God wants His supreme creature to qualify for the righteous end, duly prescribed by Him. He has therefore provided us the syllabus, the text Books and the teachers. The last and final after the books of Torah and Gospel is the Quran and after the Prophets Moses and Jesus is the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them all. Hence Islam is not a new religion, but the finalization of the Abrahams religion having the same purpose and the values meant by God through Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The author hopes that this book will work to bring all the three big nations, the Jews, Christians and the Muslim closer to each other quitting behind hatred hidden in their hearts and combine them together at the similar cause, that is obedience and supplication to the Gods Commandments and peace and love for the humanity leaving behind all the prejudices and hatred. May God, the Allah guide us for the right path, Amen.

Book excerpt: This book intended to prove that the need for religion is greater than the need for food and drink. A person is by nature a religious person. If he does not find the true religion, he will then invent a religion for himself, similar to what happened with the pagan religions created by humankind. Human beings need security in this life, just as they need protection after death; the true religion gives its followers complete safety in this life and the Hereafter. In fact, there is no enlightenment, renaissance, progress, beauty, or true science except by embracing the religion of Islam. Islam has succeeded as a method, while capitalism and communism have failed. No orientalist has studied Islam and its civilization - whatever his stand from Islam is –did not admit that Islam is a Religion and a State. However, Muslims being away from their true religion and their inability to properly spread Islam’s principles has contributed in recent decades to an increase in the number of atheists, sceptics, and perplexities in the world. People in the West advanced in science and knowledge when they abandoned the wrong beliefs based on the distorted religion they had, and adopted science and logic. Still, with their approach to science properly, they lost the values, morals, and purpose of their existence, by neglecting to embrace the correct religion. These points will be examined in details by narrating real-life conversations with personalities from different nationalities and cultures.

The world ceases wonder under its belly, and religion helps you to reveal the hidden truths. Prophets are part of this revelation. Allah bestowed them with such astounding miracles that no ordinary man would ever believe, but those with knowledge and trust will understand that the world is a miracle. The book "Miracles of prophet Dawud" reveals the powers of the prophet, bestowed by our creator to his special humans, to help us live a simple and peaceful life. A man filled with the love of Allah, a faithful and lawful king, a loving father, and a pious man. How come all these qualities are gathered in one man? How come to a small child killed a giant enemy with his slingshot? How can a man mold iron with his bare hands? Allah bestows miracles on his favorite people when he wants something to happen. Prophet Dawud is one of those Prophets; Allah granted kingship and prophecy together for the first time in human history and the prophet’s history. Let's read and understand the meaning behind it.
