Book excerpt: One of the easiest and logical system of palmistry that i ever saw: Sophie (Gaurav's Student) The best thing about this book is that it is written by a teacher of palmistry so he knows what it takes to make students learn: Michael Nelson (Gaurav's Student) This book is better than the most other books for learning palmistry because this book is written for the sole purpose of teaching the palmistry in a scientific and rational manner to new learners. The most of the other books available in market were not meant for teaching; they were not written for learners. All the available books on palmistry lacked a systematic approach with simplified principles for teaching. For this reason this book 'Principles of Palmistry: A Self Learning Manual' was written. This contains the principles and the system of palmistry that he developed for his students over the years. While reading this book student will feel like talking to the author in his class. Every fact is explained with reason and ample (125) illustrations. This book aims to enable the students to learn the system and principles of palmistry for applying on everyone's hand with confidence. Author of this book Dr. Gaurav Agrawal is the instructor of palmistry at the Indian Palmistry Institute, Rishikesh, India. While teaching he realized that there was not a single book of palmistry that was helpful to new students. For his simplified and logical system he was very much appreciated. Moreover being a clinical psychologist he had used and taught palmistry as a tool for understanding human personality. This understanding is also incorporated in this book. Surely it will be helpful for new learners and also for all those palmists who know the subject but still want to learn it systematically with a logical approach.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A comprehensive guide to the inner psychology revealed by the hand • Details how to interpret the entire hand--the shape of the palm and fingers, mounts, lines, fingerprints, flexibility, nails, and skin texture • Reveals the personality archetypes, strengths, and weaknesses connected with each of the seven mounts and how the rest of the hand modifies these traits • Explains how lines change and the decisive influence of the person’s own mind in healing defects found on the lines Palmistry is a science and a universal language. The hand tells a story about your talents, relationships, health, and how you feel about yourself. It reveals periods of ease or challenge in your life, and it speaks about your weaknesses and the traits you need to develop. As you change, so do your hands, reflecting the progress you have made. In this comprehensive guide to hand reading, based on Ellen Goldberg’s 40 years of teaching palmistry and the Western Mystery tradition, the authors make the powerful insights of the hand accessible in an inviting and user-friendly manner. The book presents the character traits and personality archetypes associated with each of the seven mounts of the palm and shows how to determine which are most influential in the nature of the individual. The mount archetypes reveal the lifestyle, love, sex, and marriage preferences; the best career choices; and the unique strengths and weaknesses for each person. The book also examines other factors that enhance the qualities revealed by the mount types, including the flexibility of the hand, texture of the skin, and the shapes of the fingers, fingertips, and nails. The meaning of each major and minor line is described in detail as well as the influence the person’s own mind has in healing defects and obstacles found on their lines. The authors also provide accurate timing guides for each line, making it possible to locate specific events and to see how your lines change over time. Presenting the hand as a guide to self-fulfillment, The Art and Science of Hand Reading incorporates correspondences to other mystical sciences such as astrology, Kabbalah, the Hermetic teachings, and archetypal psychology. It also includes practical examples and more than 600 illustrations to show how to integrate the meanings of each part of the hand to form a complete picture of your inner psychology and your ever-changing destiny.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book "PALMISTRY, A TRUE SCIENCE", is a carefully compiled book which contains 13 theories, 210 sketches of lines of the human palms, 64 case studies, 61 clearly and uniquely taken palm impressions. Ever since the origination of this subject, this is the first time that the human palms have been thoroughly analyzed "with reference to both the palms". For the author, the left hand and the right hand of 1000's of cases functioned as one whole comprehensive unit to enable him to compare the structural inter-relationships between different lines. The net result was that he could decipher the differences in dimensions between the left and the right palms such as - difference in lengths, slope, shortness, direction, location, fading characteristics, whether present in one or both the palms etc. The above aspect in his approach to the research was aimed at finding just the structural aspects of the lines on human palms. The other side of the coin is to relate the functions (events, diseases and temperaments) to the line patterns already discovered by the author. For this part of the research, he had to employ sophisticated techniques that only an investigator, a logician, an analyst or a statistician could have employed. In other words, the author employed some of the appropriate human qualities such as tact, wildest imagination, deep analytical power, trial and error method, wild guesses and compilation techniques so that he could bind together all the varied structural and functional extravaganzas present in the hands of his innumerable clients, into cohesive, presentable as well as verifiable rules and theories. Keeping in mind the vast dimension of this great science, the author could accommodate only 3 functions [MONEY and BUSINESS, JOB/CAREER and OVERSEAS TRAVEL / STAY] in this book. His forthcoming books deal with other life events, diseases and human temperaments. This book boasts of so many "firsts". To quote some examples: 1) No book has documented any provable, testable theories (13 in number) in such a minute degree. In the process, this book has secured an exalted status to "PALMISTRY"as a "TRUE SCIENCE". It goes without saying that "palm reading" is a scientific exercise - on par with any other science. 2) No book has featured as many as 64 case studies, and 61 clear palm impressions ( A very high number!! of real examples for a book of this genre--an all time record, all accommodated in just 250 pages 3) One among many highlights of the book is that almost all the palm impressions have been marked out and their corresponding function(s) indicated [A first-time-ever phenomenon] which enhances its authenticity as well as proves its scientific nature. 4) Genuineness of the whole venture lies in the fact that the whole edifice of this book rests on the solid foundation of real life events / diseases / temperaments of all his clients.[ Principles, rules and theories -all derived from these real stories] 5) And the people, the world over, are going to be exposed to an entirely new subject, for the most part of the book (about 95%) is hitherto unheard-of. 6) Last, but not the least, this book has the great potential to spawn a new breed of researchers, as this subject has immense scope for further research. In a world of continuing research, even one discovery fetches world acclaim and recognition, one can imagine what lies in store for this book, which has innumerable discoveries dotting the entire book. Dear Readers! Please watch out for "NEW WINE IN A NEW BOTTLE". The author can be contacted through his e-mail: [email protected]
