Book excerpt: I bring forth throughout the chapters of this book the story of the reign of the Dragon Lords and enslavement of the pre-Adamic peoples as connected to the legendary Atlantean myths of the antediluvian world. I explain how the creation of the heavens and the earth as a 'perfect work', and man initially to be not vain but inhabited according to Isaiah 45:18, ended up being destroyed by the rebellion of the angels and war which initially fought in the heavens, resulted in the earth becoming a deserted wasteland and an indistinguishable ruin. Examining in very thorough manner the Genesis 1:2 phrase 'and the earth was without form and void', I expound upon how this verse in the Hebrew, eretz hayyah tohuw wa bohuw, implies that a previous earth and age existed in our distant past before the earth was reformed, reestablish, and restored in habitation. Peter describes how the world that then was perished which in the Greek is the word, ἀπόλλυμι apóllymi, ap-ol'-loo-mee; which means to destroy fully, to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin; render useless, kill, to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell, to perish, be lost, ruined, or annihilated.

Book Synopsis Adam and the Genome by : Scot McKnight
Download or read book Adam and the Genome written by Scot McKnight and published by Brazos Press. This book was released on 2017-01-31 with total page 343 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Genomic science indicates that humans descend not from an individual pair but from a large population. What does this mean for the basic claim of many Christians: that humans descend from Adam and Eve? Leading evangelical geneticist Dennis Venema and popular New Testament scholar Scot McKnight combine their expertise to offer informed guidance and answers to questions pertaining to evolution, genomic science, and the historical Adam. Some of the questions they explore include: - Is there credible evidence for evolution? - Do we descend from a population or are we the offspring of Adam and Eve? - Does taking the Bible seriously mean rejecting recent genomic science? - How do Genesis's creation stories reflect their ancient Near Eastern context, and how did Judaism understand the Adam and Eve of Genesis? - Doesn't Paul's use of Adam in the New Testament prove that Adam was a historical individual? The authors address up-to-date genomics data with expert commentary from both genetic and theological perspectives, showing that genome research and Scripture are not irreconcilable. Foreword by Tremper Longman III and afterword by Daniel Harrell.

Book Synopsis Losing a Lost Tribe by : Simon G. Southerton
Download or read book Losing a Lost Tribe written by Simon G. Southerton and published by . This book was released on 2004 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For the past 175 years, the Latter-day Saint Church has taught that Native Americans and Polynesians are descended from ancient seafaring Israelites. Recent DNA research confirms what anthropologists have been saying for nearly as many years, that Native Americans are originally from Siberia and Polynesians from Southeast Asia. In the current volume, molecular biologist Simon Southerton explains the theology and the science and how the former is being reshaped by the latter. In the Book of Mormon, the Jewish prophet Lehi says the following after arriving by boat in America in 600 BCE: Wherefore, I, Lehi, have obtained a promise, that inasmuch as those whom the Lord God shall bring out of the land of Jerusalem shall keep his commandments, they shall prosper upon the face of this land; and they shall be kept from all other nations, that they may possess this land unto themselves (2 Ne. 1:9).
Book Synopsis Lucifer - Father of Cain by : Zen Garcia
Download or read book Lucifer - Father of Cain written by Zen Garcia and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2014-03-18 with total page 370 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The esoteric knowledge presented here, represents what are in my belief, some of the most carefully guarded, heavily veiled, and least understood secrets of biblical wisdom traditions. Many have stumbled upon this knowledge without necessarily grasping just what the full implications this knowledge means for unlocking and deciphering the riddles of our Holy Bible as bestowed upon us by our Father Yahweh through the line of prophets and even His only begotten Son Yahushuah Savior Messiah. The secret that unlocks all things biblical is knowledge that Cain was a child of Eve and Lucifer and not the first born son of Adam. Understanding that there are two blood lines upon the planet and that these two bloodlines have been warring with one another since the inception and dawning of humanity upon this world will help one to decipher this critical theme as it plays out through the totality of all available scripture, from the fall to soon coming judgment.

Book Synopsis Religion and the Racist Right by : Michael Barkun
Download or read book Religion and the Racist Right written by Michael Barkun and published by UNC Press Books. This book was released on 2014-02-01 with total page 347 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: According to Michael Barkun, many white supremacist groups of the radical right are deeply committed to the distinctive but little-recognized religious position known as Christian Identity. In Religion and the Racist Right (1994), Barkun provided the first sustained exploration of the ideological and organizational development of the Christian Identity movement. In a new chapter written for the revised edition, he traces the role of Christian Identity figures in the dramatic events of the first half of the 1990s, from the Oklahoma City bombing and the rise of the militia movement to the Freemen standoff in Montana. He also explores the government's evolving response to these challenges to the legitimacy of the state. Michael Barkun is professor of political science in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He is author of several books, including Crucible of the Millennium: The Burned-over District of New York in the 1840s.
