El mayor deseo de los autores es que esta obra pueda contribuir a un mejor entendimiento social y a una explicación más certera de los fenómenos de violencia contra las mujeres, a una propuesta realista de actuación sobre las víctimas y los agresores y, por encima de todo, a una mejora de la prevención de la violencia en estos ámbitos.
