Book excerpt: Une étude bibliographique récapitule les critères de reproduction permettant d'évaluer les performances d'un troupeau, le déroulement d'un plan de maîtrise (audit d'élevage et suivi) et propose une liste non exhaustive des différents plans existants ou ayant existé. L'écoplanning est un suivi de reproduction original qui propose aux éleveurs de gérer les quotas laitiers par la reproduction. Il les aide à élaborer une stratégie avec des outils (planning linéaire, fiches individuelles, visites régulières du vétérinaire) et à lutter contre l'infécondité dans l'élevage. Ce suivi a été évalué dans 29 élevages et sur 7 années, à trois niveaux : une évaluation des résultats de reproduction pour déterminer s'il existe une amélioration grâce à l'écoplanning, une évaluation du coût de l'écoplanning et de l'opinion des éleveurs pour déterminer ce qu'il apporte réellement aux éleveurs. dans les élevages étudiés, en moyenne, les critères de fécondité et de fertilité ne se sont pas améliorés au cours des 7 années de suivi. cependant, ces critères de performance étaient bons, à l'exception du taux de réussite première insémination qui est resté inférieur à 44 % dès la première année de suivi. Le pourcentage de vaches inséminées trois fois et plus est resté inférieur à 12 % grâce à la précocité des diagnostics et des traitements des vaches infertiles, ce qui a permis de maintenir un intervalle vêlage insémination fécondante à un niveau correct malgré le taux de réussite première insémination médiocre.

Les mesures de tour de poitrine montrent une moyenne de 203,67 11,06 cm avec une mesure approximative de poids par le metre ruban donne en moyenne 707,2 111,8 kg. L'IVC1 est de 21,89 6,89j et l'IVI1 est de 57,08 14,11j. Neanmoins, il existe une correlation tres forte entre la NEC et le poids et bien evidemment le poids et la production laitiere.Mais, la NEC est correlee negativement avec IVC1. En conclusion l'etat corporel est etroitement lie aux criteres zootechniques.Il faut bien gerer le troupeau a fin de maximiser la production laitiere et minimiser les troubles reproductifs et metaboliques."

Si le stress thermique a fait l'objet de nombreuses recherches dans les zones aux climats extrêmes, peu d'études concernent les régions plus tempérées. Dans cette étude, nous nous sommes ainsi intéressés à l'effet du stress thermique sur les performances de reproduction d'un élevage laitier en Île de France, dans des conditions climatiques tempérées avec influence océanique (climat caractérisé par une relative stabilité des variations de température). Nous avons étudié sur une période de cinq ans (2014-2018) la relation entre la survenue d'épisodes de stress thermique et la réussite à l'insémination. Pour ce faire, nous avons étudié un troupeau de Prim'holstein hautes productrices (> 9 000 kg de lait par lactation) de la région Ile-de France, qui nous a permis d'obtenir, sur cinq ans, les données de reproduction de 566 vaches, tout rang d'IA confondu. Il semblerait, d'après nos résultats, que le stress thermique s'accompagnerait d'une diminution des performances de reproduction, quelle que soit l'intensité de l'épisode de stress thermique. Ainsi, pour une exposition à un THI > 70 (stress thermique modéré), le taux de réussite à l'insémination (TRIA) passe de 64 % chez les non exposés à 53 % chez les exposés (p 0,001) alors que pour un seuil défini à THI 80 (stress thermique intense), le TRIA est respectivement de 62 % et de 51 % (p
