Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Much has been written about the legendary flight of Apollo 11 and mankind’s first tentative steps into deep space. It’s often said that the world stopped, watching in awe as the crew of Apollo 11 completed their mission. It is true that in that moment, almost everyone had virtually gone to the moon as people around the world gazed in wonderment at the grainy black-and-white images of Neil Armstrong taking that first step onto the surface of another world. But that was a fleeting moment and just as quickly, the moment was gone– wars raged on, protestors filled the streets, and average Americans went back to their daily lives. Everyone’s Gone to the Moon is a week-by-week journey through July 1969, one of the most pivotal months in human history – in space and here on Earth. This unique book follows the crew of Apollo 11 and NASA as they prepare for the historic first lunar landing alongside the major global events buried beneath headlines covering the historic space mission. Interwoven with the story of Apollo 11 are the events on our home planet that made an equally important impact on who we were then and who we are today: the Life of Prince Charles was threatened by a terrorist attack in Wales; the storm dubbed the Ohio Fireworks Derecho ripped through the Midwest, killing dozens; the assassination of Kenyan Economic Minister Tom Myoba (of which Barack Obama Sr. was a key witness) undercut a nation just learning to stand on its own; Senator Ted Kennedy was involved in a mysterious accident in Chappaquiddick, Massachusetts; ARPANET, the first real “Internet” was unveiled; Monty Python was born; John Lennon and Paul McCartney released “Give Peace a Chance” during escalated Vietnam War tensions; Midnight Cowboy stunned the Academy Awards; and much more. Meanwhile, NASA was still scrambling. Everyone’s Gone to the Moon features little known behind-the-scenes stories of the moon landing like how NASA had to grapple with media, the technical issues that still plagued the lunar module, and how the prior crew of Apollo 10 suffered incredible itching from their spacesuits that needed correcting before Apollo 11 could even be launched. This deep dive into the Apollo 11 mission’s most crucial weeks and the little-known and rarely remembered events occurring simultaneously back on Earth gives a vivid new perspective to the month that launched humanity into the future. ,

Book excerpt: Discover the untold story of Hak Ja Han Moon, the North Korean village girl who is now known to millions as the Mother of Peace. Her heart-wrenching story reveals details of a war-torn childhood and trials of faith as she and her late husband, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, built a vast and still-growing international movement capable of fulfilling God's will for peace in the 21st century.A major milestone of her life, described in never-told-before detail, was her marriage in 1960, at age 17, to the charismatic Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon. For the next 52 years, she joined him in the daunting task of building a global interfaith movement to fulfill God's will for peace in the 21st century.Mother Moon's journey as a religious woman leader is breathtaking: Born in Japanese-occupied Korea in 1943, she spent her early life in nature so she could commune with God. War forced her to flee south with her mother and grandmother; they crossed the Han River Bridge minutes before it was blown up. Later, she walked and worked side-by-side with Father Moon, one of history's most energetic and visionary men. They visited every corner of the earth and, despite relentless persecution, met with world leaders, including Mikhail Gorbachev and Kim Il Sung, to bring God's message for them.During this time, she bore 14 children and buried four. She stood with Father Moon for hours as they officiated at Marriage Blessing Ceremonies for hundreds of thousands of couples. Together, they launched hundreds of organizations and businesses to serve youth, family and peacemaking.Since Father Moon's passing in 2012, Mother Moon has shouldered the leadership of their still-growing movement. She has led "Peace Starts With Me" rallies in six continents and plans to bring Blessing Ceremonies to all people.

Book excerpt: It’s no coincidence when your girlfriend, Tiffany, disappears at the allegedly haunted Miskatonic hotel in downtown Providence, but Hap, a recent college graduate (and videogame playing slacker), is the only one to put that together. As the most immature of amateur detectives, he signs on as the Miskatonic’s newest bellhop to investigate her disappearance. Instead of ghosts, Hap discovers a cult that worships a cosmic entity called the Moon Shack. They run the hotel and half the city. Their order dates back hundreds of years to the dawn of modern civilization. Each and every last member is a murderer. In Hap’s investigation to find Tiffany, he’ll cross paths with a lethal vigilante known as The Eye Doctor, a rival cult that worships H.P. Lovecraft’s Great Old Ones, and the scrutiny of former friends who think he killed Tiffany himself. Will Hap lose his humanity before his investigation is over? Worse, will Tiffany have lost hers by the time Hap comes to the rescue? In a world of serial killers and ancient gods, morality is trivial.

This text delves into the connection between the lunar cycles and human life, offering a detailed analysis of each phase of the Moon and how its energies can be channeled for personal growth, healing, and the fulfillment of intentions. It explores specific rituals for each lunar phase and the relationship of the Moon with the elements of nature, as well as providing guidance on how to work with the lunar influences in each zodiac sign. This is an invitation to rediscover the magic of the Moon and use it as a powerful ally in transforming life in a profound and harmonious way. Descrição: Lunar Alchemy is a comprehensive and profound guide that explores the intimate relationship between the lunar cycles and life on Earth. This book details how the different phases of the Moon influence emotions, behaviors, and natural cycles, and offers practices and rituals to align these energies with your personal intentions and goals. The work begins with an introduction to the magic of the Moon, highlighting its central role in ancient cultures and its ongoing influence over the natural and spiritual world. The book then delves into the symbolic and energetic meanings of each lunar phase—New Moon, Waxing Moon, Full Moon, and Waning Moon—and offers specific rituals to make the most of these energies. Additionally, Lunar Alchemy explores the connection between the Moon and the elements of nature—Earth, Water, Fire, and Air—demonstrating how these elements interact with the lunar phases to promote balance and harmony. The book also dedicates a chapter to the relationship between the Moon and the female menstrual cycle, highlighting how women can tune their own natural rhythms with the lunar cycles to achieve greater well-being and self-knowledge. Another highlight of the work is the analysis of the Moon's influence as it transits through the different zodiac signs. Each sign offers a unique expression of the lunar energies, and Lunar Alchemy provides insights on how these influences can be used in rituals and spiritual practices. With a combination of ancestral knowledge and modern spiritual practices, Lunar Alchemy is an indispensable resource for anyone interested in exploring the mysteries of the Moon and using its power to transform their life in a meaningful way. This book offers not only a theoretical understanding of the lunar influences but also practical tools to apply this knowledge in everyday life, promoting growth, healing, and personal transformation in tune with the natural cycles of the universe.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Transit of planets talks about the technique of making predictions on the basis of current position of planets on the horoscope of native. The main objective of Astrology is to predict the future of the native with the help of his horoscope. For making accurate prediction it is necessary to make an analysis of three factors. These three factors are YOGAS formed with the combination and permutation of planets, 2nd important factor is periods (dasa) and 3rd factor is transit. When a person comes with a query, first of all it should be analyzed that the query is related with which house, planets, the planet occupying this house and the planets aspecting this house. The determination of the auspicious or inauspicious results of that house shall be done by analyzing three factors. These are house, house Lord and significators. For example if the question asked is regarding marriage in that case we shall see that which planets are there in seventh house, this house is aspected by which planets. Marriage yoga for the possibility of marriage is there or not and in addition to that the position of significator of 7th house i.e. Jupiter/Venus should be analyzed. For females the significator of 7th house is Jupiter and for males the natural significator of 7th house is Venus. By analyzing the placement, combination, and benefic or malefic impact of these planets we conclude weather auspicious yoga for the possibility of marriage is there or not. After Yoga next important factor to be considered is major or sub period, the duration of main period is a long and sub period’s duration also can be 6 months or more than 2 years therefore, in order to predict the timing of an event during these 2 years the help of transit can be taken. Therefore, for predicting an event the importance of transit should be considered. Although it is a matter of long discussion to determine whether transit predictions should be made on the basis of ascendant sign or moon sign. For supporting the predictions from both, scholars have given logical and justifiable opinions. But, the conclusions that we have derived on the basis of our experience advocate that auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of the transit results of planets should be done on the basis of moon sign and what type of results i.e, which house results it shall yield would be decided on the basis of ascendant sign. For instance if moon is positioned in 7th house and the sign of Leo is there, therefore transit of Saturn into this sign shall cause negative impact of Saturn’s SADHESATI because transit of Saturn into Leo shows inauspicious results therefore there can be delay or problems in marriage and married life. Similarly what can be the results of transit of planets by considering the other important factors has been taken into account in this book. Because of lack of availability of books in the field of transit predictions this book has been written for catering the need of students of all India Federation of Astrologer’s Societies Delhi. This book shall be of immense help for solving the problems of students while studying the techniques of making predictions.

Book excerpt: The question of destiny is surrounded by mystery. Are we alone? Are we left clueless about the most important issues of our life? Is there any way to find the answers to the four major questions we all have: Who am I? What is the purpose of my life? What am I doing here? Who is my Creator? Perhaps there is a plan for each of us, as hinted at in the Bible: Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered (Matt 10:30). If such a plan does exist, is it hidden from us or are we allowed to see whats in store for us? The Bible describes early in Genesis the Creators intent to leave lights in the sky for signs and for seasons (Gen 1;14). This book is an introduction to one of the oldest and most persistent methods used to understand and decipher the maps of our personal destiny.
