Parmi elles, la dermatite atopique et le psoriasis sont les plus courantes dermatoses inflammatoires. A cela s'ajoute des eczémas d'origine allergique, en particulier les eczémas de contacts rencontrés de plus en plus fréquemment. L'étude de ces pathologies dans cette thèse pourra aider le pharmacien d'officine à mieux accompagner les patients en particulier les parents d'enfants atteints par ces troubles cutanés. La peau du nouveau-né et des jeunes enfants présente des particularités, comme l'immaturité des fonctions cutanées avant deux ans ou encore la composition du derme et son épaisseur qui diffèrent de celui des adultes. Les traitements prescrits devront donc s'adapter aux spécificités dermiques et à l'âge de ces jeunes patients. Nous aborderons alors les thérapeutiques allopathiques avec notamment les dermocorticoïdes qui occupent une place prépondérante dans le traitement mais qui suscitent également une méfiance allant même jusqu'à la corticophobie. Nous décrirons également des thérapeutiques alternatives qui occupent une place de plus en plus grande sur le marché au sein de l'officine. La dermo-cosmétique fait partie intégrante du protocole de soin. En effet, les laboratoires cosmétiques disposent de gammes spécifiques pour les peaux atopiques utilisables dès la naissance. Enfin, une démarche d'éducation thérapeutique finalise cette prise en charge globale, afin d'aider les patients et leur entourage à mieux vivre avec la maladie.
