A letter to Miss O'Brien gives advice about publishing and discusses contemporary magazines. Motion picture rights are discussed in a letter to Mr. Selden, and a letter to the poet Louise Chandler Moulton discusses her work Jerome, a poor man. Among other recipients are Asa P. French, Richard Duffy, Glen Walton Blodgett, James Stuart Wilson, and David Fellers Fleisher and Jeanette L. Gilder. There are many social letters to various recipients. The collection also includes 5 portraits of the author and 3 printed obituaries.
