Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An Outline of the End Times is written by a layperson for laypeople. In an attempt to be comprehensive yet concise and thorough, PT Nicholson explores prophetic scripture in relation to the end times. He weighs up counterarguments of key issues that divide Christians regarding the tribulation and the millennium and carefully synthesizes an outline of events without overlooking difficulties. Combined with exhaustive scripture references, he uses charts, tables, maps, sketches, and graphs to explain issues and analyse topics as succinctly as possible. About 25 percent of the Bible is prophecy and, according to a well-known and respected scholar on Bible prophecy, John Walvoord, five hundred of one thousand prophetic events remain unfulfilled. Yet many Christians have only a vague notion of how end-time events will unfold due to inadequate teaching and a shortage of comprehensively researched books on the subject. An Outline of the End Times serves as a reference resource to help meet this need.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After twenty years of research, Dr. J. Barton Payne has compiled the one complete guide to Biblical prophecy. From the prediction of Adam's death in Genesis 2: 17 to the prophecy of mankind's perpetual worship of God in the new heaven and earth (Psalm 72:5), the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY discusses every verse of prophetic matter in Scripture. It identifies every probable point of fulfillment whether in the past, present, or still in the future. The first 144 pages of the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY set forth a systematic approach to the subject of Biblical prophecy and the legitimate place for prediction in it. The ENCYCLOPEDIA is arranged according to the 66 books of the Bible. In each book, all the verses on one prophetic theme are treated in one combined discussion. For example: The 12 verses of Genesis that foretell God's granting of the land of Canaan to the descendants of Abraham are discussed together. It is then shown how the promise was fulfilled in the days of Joshua. One of the ENCYCLOPEDIA'S concluding summaries lists all the 737 major subjects that appear in Biblical prediction, with the books and paragraphs in which each is found. This way, each prophecy can be traced from its first appearance in the Bible to its last. Among the many features is a complete list of all the Scriptural prophecies pertaining to Christ. No other book has ever examined Biblical prophecy so thoroughly or presented it in such a balanced perspective as the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY. •1,817 entries covering all the Biblical predictions in both the Old and New Testaments •A complete discussion of all 8,352 predictive verses in the Bible •14 tables, including three on the Book of Revelation •Bibliography •4 summaries •4 statistical appendixes •5 complete indexes An indispensable tool for students of the Bible, for students in theological seminaries and Bible colleges, for pastors as a reference guide, and for concerned lay people. The ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY is certain to bring a fresh understanding and rewarding insights of the bible.

A fascinating exposition of Biblical prophecy supported by frequent quotations of scripture, Arno C. Gaebelein's book traverses the centuries of prophecy, offering readers an education overview regarding the contents of each prophetic occurrence. Events involving ancient Israel, several of which are significant to the prophecies, are also narrated. Although the subtitle implies otherwise, this study spans both the Old and New Testaments, offering readers a wide selection of Biblical passages which point to or support prophecy. The book draws on many sources, with the somewhat surprising inclusion of the Song of Songs - a text not usually deemed prophetic - imbuing this work with a unique, studied yet accessible quality. We hear about the emergence of the Antichrist, the manifestation of the great Jehovah over the Earth, and the establishment of the Holy Kingdom predicted by Jesus Christ. The challenges and hardships which followers of God must endure in the coming ages are detailed, concluding with the final promise of the Lord - that His creation will be blessed - issued. This edition includes all of the author's notes which have been appended to the conclusion of their respective chapters.

Book excerpt: From one of the world’s most beloved Bible teachers comes a timely, compelling, and comprehensive biblical interpretation of Bible prophecy, the end times, and the apocalypse viewed through the lens of current world events. Many Christians struggle to understand the Book of Revelation. “The end times.” “The apocalypse.” “The day of judgment.” These terms are both fascinating and frightening – but what do they really mean? Drawing from decades of study, Dr. Jeremiah explains every key sign of the approaching apocalypse and what it means for you, including international, cultural, heavenly, tribulation, and end signs. With his engaging writing style and clear analysis of how current world events were foretold in the Bible, The Book of Signs is an encouraging guide to the Book of Revelation. In The Book of Signs, Dr. David Jeremiah offers answers to questions including: What does the Bible tell us about the future? How much can we understand about biblical prophecy and its application in our lives? What signs and signals will precede the end of everything as we know it? Which of those signs and signals have already come to pass, which are we experiencing now, and which are still to come? An epic and authoritative guide to biblical prophecy, The Book of Signs is a must-have resource for Christians seeking to navigate the uncertainties of the present and embrace God’s promises for the future with a renewed sense of hope and purpose.

Book excerpt: "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts" (II Peter 1:19). PROPHECY is given by GOD to foretell future events. Throughout the Scriptures, written over a period of 1600 years, the HOLY SPIRIT has revealed one co-ordinative plan of the future. JESUS told His disciples that one of the reasons for prophesying was that when an event which He had foretold occurred, they would believe that He was the SON of GOD. Peter further enlightens us by telling us that prophecy is "a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts" (II Peter 1:19). Often prophetic subjects have become the theme of speculation. In speculating men have gone far beyond the purpose of prophetic Scriptures. I believe that the most helpful way to study prophecy is outlined for us in Revelation 1:3: "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Three distinct steps are mentioned: first, read; second, give heed; third, remember. Nothing is said about speculating or prophesying. This book is by no means an exhaustive study of the great prophetic subjects. Rather, it presents a brief outline of things to come. It should serve as a light in a dark place for those who believe and as a definite warning to those who have thus far rejected CHRIST as SAVIOUR. It should move the Christian to take action for His LORD and should move the unsaved to accept CHRIST as their SAVIOUR. "Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light" (Romans 13:11, 12). - Theodore H. Epp
