Download or read book Our Hands Are Stained with Blood written by Michael L. Brown and published by Destiny Image Publishers. This book was released on 1992 with total page 276 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A description of 2,000 years of Christian persecution of the Jews, written by a Jewish Christian who contends that Christians are almost totally ignorant of the Jews' agony throughout the centuries. Pointing to the Jewish origins of Jesus and the apostles, and to positive aspects of Judaism, decries the Christian distortion of Judaism, and the hatred and lies spread against the Jewish people up to the present day. Although he believes that the Jews will eventually come to accept Jesus as the Messiah, Brown calls on Christians to approach Jews with love, and not with hatred. He states that Satan is the author of the spirit of antisemitism, and that Christians must recognize that when they hate Jews they are heeding not God but Satan.

Book Synopsis Christian Antisemitism by : Michael L. Brown
Download or read book Christian Antisemitism written by Michael L. Brown and published by Charisma House. This book was released on 2021-02-02 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hate isn't a thing from history. The Jewish people and Israel have been described as "a dominant and moving force behind the present and coming evils of our day"; "a monstrous system of evil...[that] will destroy us and our children" if not resisted; and a group that seeks "the annihilation of almost every Gentile man, woman, and child and the establishment of a satanic Jewish-led global dictatorship." What's worse is that these comments were all made by professing Christians. In Christian Antisemitism, respected Messianic Bible scholar Michael L. Brown, PhD, documents shocking examples of modern "Christian" antisemitism and exposes the lies that support them. Carefully researched, this book shows that church-based antisemitism is no longer a thing of the past. Rather, a dangerous, shocking tide of "Christian" antisemitism has begun to rise. In Christian Antisemitism, Dr. Brown shows you how to stem this tide now and overcome the evil of "Christian" antisemitism with the powerful love of the cross! This book will show you how to confront everyday antisemitism in all areas of your life and become a champion for the people of Israel.

Book Synopsis MacLaren's Commentary- Expositions of Holy Scripture by : Alexander MacLaren
Download or read book MacLaren's Commentary- Expositions of Holy Scripture written by Alexander MacLaren and published by Delmarva Publications, Inc.. This book was released on with total page 13578 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All thirty-two of the original volumes are included in this one volume. There are two linked indexes in this volume, a main index at the front of this volume that will take you to the beginning each of the books of the bible and another index at the beginning of each book there is a linked scripture index leading to the particular subject. MacLaren’s Expositions of Holy Scripture is considered one of the greatest expositor’s commentary of all time. This commentary has more than 1,500 sermons arranged in canonical order with more than 46,000 scriptural references, making this collection one of the fullest expositor’s commentary ever. For his work MacLaren drew praise from many. A. T. Robertson Said of MacLaren “His matchless discourses are the fruit of the most exact scholarship and spiritual enthusiasm.” F. B. Meyer said “As an expository preacher none of them equaled MacLaren of Manchester, and no other sermons were so widely read the world around.” MacLaren was born in Glasgow on February 11, 1826, and died in Manchester on May 5, 1910. He had been for almost sixty-five years a minister, entirely devoted to his calling. He lived more than almost any of the great preachers of his time between his study, his pulpit, his pen. His ministry fell into a quiet routine for which he was always grateful: two sermons on Sunday, a Monday prayer meeting and a Thursday service and lecture. His parishioners thought his sermons to them were the best he ever preached. In April 1858 he was called to be minister at Union Chapel in Manchester. No ministry could have been happier. The church prospered and a new building had to be erected to seat 1,500; every sitting was taken. His renown as preacher spread throughout the English-speaking world. His pulpit became his throne. He was twice elected President of the Baptist Union. He resigned as pastor in 1905 after a ministry of forty-five years. MacLaren’s religious life was hid with Christ in God. He walked with God day by day. He loved Jesus Christ with a reverent, holy love and lived to make Him known. In his farewell sermon at Union he said: "To efface oneself is one of a preacher’s first duties."

Book excerpt: A sidhe is a fairy mound that acts as a portal between two worlds. One of these ancient Irish openings is explored by Diedre, a fourteen-year-old American who is visiting Ireland, the home of her mother, just after the death of her grandmother. SIDHE: The Alphabet of the Trees centers on Deidre's quest to find answers to her heritage. This leads her into a web of intrigue, as well as a place to mourn the loss of her mother's mother, and to find herself in places with wide-reaching implications. Deidre begins to understand her own place within her family, and of the Irish folk culture that is rich in the notions of identity, belief, and love in its various forms. This timeless story takes Diedre from New York City to Ireland. Sometimes she is in pre-Celtic Eire, or sliding through the timeless wind of a sidhe, or perhaps she is at the castle of the great king of Ulster, or scrambling through the world of the Aine in Limerick or Cliodna of Cork. Join Diedre as she tries to solve the ancient story of the sidhe, its riddle and its promise.
