Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The immigrant Anna Juliana Kemper Brumbach (b. 1708) was married to Johannes Brumbach (d. 1744) in 1733 in Musen, Germany. He was a son of Christophel of Musen and she, a daughter of Johann George of Musen also. Four children were born to Johannes and Anna Juliana Brumbach: (1) Johannes (1734-1759?); (2) Maria Elisabetha (1736-1813?); (3) Johann Henrich (1739-1799); and (4) Anna Madgalena (b. 1742). In 1750 after her husband's death Juliana petitioned for permission to join her two half brothers, Johannes and John Henry Kemper, in America. About 1760 Juliana is living in an area north from Luray, in what is Page County, Virginia today. She and the family had lived in Lan- caster Co., Pa. before, because the oldest son, Johannes, had died there between 1759-1760. Descendants live in Ohio, Illinois, Virginia, Washington and else- where.
