Book Synopsis Lectures on White Noise Functionals by : Takeyuki Hida
Download or read book Lectures on White Noise Functionals written by Takeyuki Hida and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2008 with total page 281 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: White noise analysis is an advanced stochastic calculus that has developed extensively since three decades ago. It has two main characteristics. One is the notion of generalized white noise functionals, the introduction of which is oriented by the line of advanced analysis, and they have made much contribution to the fields in science enormously. The other characteristic is that the white noise analysis has an aspect of infinite dimensional harmonic analysis arising from the infinite dimensional rotation group. With the help of this rotation group, the white noise analysis has explored new areas of mathematics and has extended the fields of applications.
Book Synopsis Infinite Dimensional Harmonic Analysis Iii - Proceedings Of The Third German-japanese Symposium by : Kimiaki Saito
Download or read book Infinite Dimensional Harmonic Analysis Iii - Proceedings Of The Third German-japanese Symposium written by Kimiaki Saito and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2005-11-09 with total page 366 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume contains contributions on recent results in infinite dimensional harmonic analysis and its applications to probability theory. Some papers deal with purely analytic topics such as Frobenius reciprocity, diffeomorphism groups, equivariant fibrations and Harish-Chandra modules. Several other papers touch upon stochastic processes, in particular Lévy processes. The majority of the contributions emphasize on the algebraic-topological aspects of the theory by choosing configuration spaces, locally compact groups and hypergroups as their basic structures. The volume provides a useful survey of innovative work pertaining to a highly actual section of modern analysis in its pure and applied shapings.

Book Synopsis White Noise Calculus and Fock Space by : Nobuaki Obata
Download or read book White Noise Calculus and Fock Space written by Nobuaki Obata and published by Springer. This book was released on 2006-11-15 with total page 195 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: White Noise Calculus is a distribution theory on Gaussian space, proposed by T. Hida in 1975. This approach enables us to use pointwise defined creation and annihilation operators as well as the well-established theory of nuclear space. This self-contained monograph presents, for the first time, a systematic introduction to operator theory on fock space by means of white noise calculus. The goal is a comprehensive account of general expansion theory of Fock space operators and its applications. In particular, first order differential operators, Laplacians, rotation group, Fourier transform and their interrelations are discussed in detail w.r.t. harmonic analysis on Gaussian space. The mathematical formalism used here is based on distribution theory and functional analysis , prior knowledge of white noise calculus is not required.
Book Synopsis Introduction to Hida Distributions by : Si Si
Download or read book Introduction to Hida Distributions written by Si Si and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2012 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides the mathematical definition of white noise and gives its significance. White noise is in fact a typical class of idealized elemental (infinitesimal) random variables. Thus, we are naturally led to have functionals of such elemental random variables that is white noise. This book analyzes those functionals of white noise, particularly the generalized ones called Hida distributions, and highlights some interesting future directions. The main part of the book involves infinite dimensional differential and integral calculus based on the variable which is white noise. The present book can be used as a supplementary book to Lectures on White Noise Functionals published in 2008, with detailed background provided.

These fields are rather wide and are of a strongly interdisciplinary nature. For such a purpose, we strove to bridge among these interdisciplinary fields in our Workshop on IDAQP and their Applications that was held at the Institute for Mathematical Sciences, National University of Singapore from 3-7 March 2014. Readers will find that this volume contains all the exciting contributions by well-known researchers in search of new directions in these fields.

Download or read book Quantum and Stochastic Mathematical Physics written by Astrid Hilbert and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-04-02 with total page 390 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sergio Albeverio gave important contributions to many fields ranging from Physics to Mathematics, while creating new research areas from their interplay. Some of them are presented in this Volume that grew out of the Random Transformations and Invariance in Stochastic Dynamics Workshop held in Verona in 2019. To understand the theory of thermo- and fluid-dynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, Albeverio and his collaborators developed stochastic theories having strong interplays with operator theory and functional analysis. His contribution to the theory of (non Gaussian)-SPDEs, the related theory of (pseudo-)differential operators, and ergodic theory had several impacts to solve problems related, among other topics, to thermo- and fluid dynamics. His scientific works in the theory of interacting particles and its extension to configuration spaces lead, e.g., to the solution of open problems in statistical mechanics and quantum field theory. Together with Raphael Hoegh Krohn he introduced the theory of infinite dimensional Dirichlet forms, which nowadays is used in many different contexts, and new methods in the theory of Feynman path integration. He did not fear to further develop different methods in Mathematics, like, e.g., the theory of non-standard analysis and p-adic numbers.
