No terceiro capítulo, a interpretação das regras jurídicas é examinada sob o ponto de vista de sua função como instrumento para a aplicação efetiva do direito, a sua contínua evolução e adequação. No que diz respeito ao estatuto das sociedades por ações, a interpretação assegura sua efetiva aplicação e a garantia da consecução do seu escopo, em função do qual os sócios constituíram a sociedade.
