Insomma, significa studiare la teoria e saperne ricostruire gli snodi cruciali. Allora, perché un eserciziario? Perché, come per ogni sentiero, è importante avere segnali che ci dicano se siamo oppure no sulla strada giusta. Ecco, in matematica, gli esercizi sono questo: segnali. Sono cioè il segnale che ci permette di capire se la teoria è stata compresa correttamente; sono una verifica indispensabile dello studio teorico compiuto e, allo stesso tempo, una misura dei propri progressi. Oggigiorno, grazie alle numerose risorse disponibili online, non sussiste il problema di reperire esercizi di ogni genere e natura; si pone, al contrario, il problema di filtrare e selezionare, tra quello disponibile, il materiale più idoneo. Spesso lo studente non è in grado di affrontare da solo questa scelta e, di fronte all’abbondanza delle possibilità che gli vengono offerte, rischia di esercitarsi in modo dispersivo e inefficace. Soprattutto rischia di svolgere un gran numero di esercizi senza assimilare appieno la teoria. Il presente volume vuole quindi essere uno strumento che accompagna lo studente nella sua preparazione proponendo esercizi svolti, da svolgere ed esercizi interattivi, stimolandolo però sempre ad un preliminare confronto con gli aspetti teorici. Gli autori hanno una lunga esperienza didattica in corsi universitari e si sono sempre dedicati con entusiasmo all’insegnamento; siamo quindi certi il presente eserciziario sarà un valido aiuto nella preparazione di molti studenti. L’eserciziario può ovviamente essere utilizzato in modo autonomo, ma si può considerare il naturale completamento del testo “Note di Matematica” e la prosecuzione del testo “Note di Matematica: Nozioni preliminari”.
