Their connection was instantaneous, a spark that some might call "insta-love." Yet, Becca couldn't shake the nagging doubt—what were the odds that someone as charming, attractive, and humorous as Julius would be genuinely interested in her, the real her? As their lives entwined, Becca found herself questioning whether Julius could see beyond her enchanting exterior and discover the woman beneath the facade. Was there a chance for a deeper connection, or was Becca doomed to repeat the same cycle of heartbreak? If you enjoy sizzling adult romances with mated mates, friends to lovers, hot sexy scenes, unexpected twists, this book is a must-read. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Love Your Life, Not Theirs, Rachel Cruze shines a spotlight on the most damaging money habit we have: comparing ourselves to others. Then she unpacks seven essential money habits for living the life we really want--a life in line with our values, where we can afford the things we want to buy without being buried under debt, stress, and worry. The Joneses are broke. Life looks good, but hidden beneath that glossy exterior are credit card bills, student loans, car payments, and an out-of-control mortgage. Their money situation is a mess, and they're trying to live a life they simply can't afford. So why exactly do we try so hard to keep up with the Joneses? Are we really living the lives we want, or are we chasing someone else's dream, just trying to keep up appearances on social media, at church, and in our community? Why are we letting other people set the pace for our own family's finances? In Love Your Life, Not Theirs, Rachel shows you how to buy and do the things that are important to you--the right way. That starts by choosing to quit the comparisons, reframing the way you think about money, and developing new habits like avoiding debt, living on a plan, watching your spending, saving for the future, having healthy conversations about money, and giving. These habits work, and Rachel is living proof. Now, she wants to empower you to live the life you've always dreamed of without creating the debt, stress, and worry that are all too often part of the deal. Social media isn't real life, and trying to keep up with the Joneses will never get you anywhere. It's time to live--and love--your life, not theirs. "I've never read a book about money that takes this approach--and that's a good thing! Comparison has a way of weaving itself throughout all aspects of our lives, including our money. In Love Your Life, Not Theirs, Rachel Cruze outlines the seven money habits that really matter--and they have nothing to do with keeping up with the Joneses!" Candace Cameron-Bure Actress, author, and co-host of The View "Love Your Life, Not Theirs is full of the kind of practical, straightforward advice we've come to expect from Rachel Cruze. She offers guidance on paying down debt, smart saving, and the right way to talk to your spouse about money. These indispensable tips can help with day-to-day spending decisions and put you on a path to establishing healthy financial habits." Susan Spencer Editor-in-Chief for Woman's Day "Cruze's self-deprecating and honest voice is a great resource for anyone wanting to take charge of their money. With humor and approachability, she helps her readers set themselves up for success and happiness, no matter what current financial state they may be in." Kimberly Williams-Paisley New York Times best-selling author of Where the Light Gets In "In today's world of social media, the temptation to play the comparison game is stronger than ever. Love Your Life, Not Theirs is the perfect reminder that, when it comes to money, comparison is a game you can't win. A terrific--and much needed--read." Book excerpt: It was intoxicating. Thrilling. It was so unlike her. Aila was always a good wife. Never reckless. Always faithful. Until she wasn't. Aila Sorenson doesn't know what happened to her marriage. She actively participated in building the life she and her husband, Ben, created but she no longer recognizes herself when she remembers the role she dreamt up fifteen years ago. While Ben has been building a successful career as an attorney in Seattle, Aila has remained in the shadows taking care of their home and tending to their children while struggling to find a balance between the monotony and the chaos. They appear to be shining pillars of marital perfection-attending church on Sundays, volunteering, and surpassing every expectation society has of them-but deep down, Aila knows their marriage is crumbling. She often wonders if Ben even realizes it. When Aila unexpectedly runs into someone from her past, the illusion she and Ben created begins to shatter. While many merely wonder about the road not taken, Aila runs down it full-speed. After months of authentic and insatiable passion, Aila rivals her devotion against her desires and must decide which one is worth fighting for.

The follow up to Charlotte Eriksson's first book "Empty Roads & Broken Bottles; in search for The Great Perhaps", is the continued self-exploring quest of a young artist. Poetry, travel stories and journals that brings you in to this young girl's journey. ---------------- The journals and poetry explore the dreamer's fate of leaving and arriving, love and loss, and learning to go on on your own. It captures the city of Berlin, where I somehow ended up. The broken concrete, conversations with strangers, small moments of ache or clarity. The stories leads to the chapter of my Album Journals "Learning What It Means To Be An Artist," which is a series of journals and letters behind what came to be my second album "I Must Be Gone and Live, or Stay and Die". The album and this book go hand in hand and the lyrics and quotes blend into one another. The reader will find the book as a world of its own, and the listener of the album will find the musical world expanded into reality.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A note from the author: I have written two books under the name Blake Townsend Romanov, which I consider literary soul-mates, Pare My Heart and Draw Me A Spirit, both specializing in an imperfect attempt at meter and or form, mainly Shakespearean Sonnets, also some Petrarchian as well as Villanelles and finally a number of Limericks in addition to metrical or rhyming poems of unnamed form. I say that the meter is imperfect, but also that meter is often imperfect by nature as for instance in the question of whether The Nile and Denial have the same number of syllables though certainly they rhyme. I have taken advantage of these equivocal moments of rhyme and meter to befuddle my critics, flattering myself that such people exist. There may be actual mistakes of course for which I can’t account. I would like to give some further explanations of the books the author and the muses. My first admission will be that my pseudonym is silly and takes up space in syllables. However my own real name is equally silly and has always felt to be a tall shadow or a funhouse mirror simultaneously enticing me with a pompous view of myself and enabling moments of bruising disappointment. As for the name I chose, Towsend because it is the name outsiders, Romanov because it is the name of tragedy, excess and passion, and Blake because it means to both light and dark, but not an amalgam as in gray, but light here and dark there as in chiaroscuro. Sheen upon a lake at night is an example of blake. Thus it is the color of both balance and conflict. It also a first name which women finds sexy (if not overdone); the sometimes squeamishly received adjective is of no small value. Neither the author nor the muses, Maggie Burnes and Emily Gray are to be taken as real, nor are the very facts of the stories these books tell meant to be scrutinized, but rather, imagined. As for my own beliefs which are often left to the reader, allow me to admit that I am Unitarian by faith, meaning that I believe in God without authoritative revealed religion placing demands on how I characterize his or her spirit. I am Unitarian of the Romantic, Transcendentalist bent and I believe that God’s Spirit is most present in moments of spontaneity inspiration or originality rather than in the retaining of laws, rules or protocol. I have more than dabbled in its antecedent religion, Christianity, and have come to hold in high esteem the story and teaching of Jesus as a representation of God’s nature. I do not reject revealed religion but would rather have held even the most intoxicated prophecy to the same scrutiny as any work of natural religion (philosophy). I have also taken some interest in Zen and the Tao which you may notice in my writing. I am no master of anything but rather an inspired dilettante, in short a poet. Enjoy my poems.

Book excerpt: From bestselling authors Mindy Starns Clark and Susan Meissner, The Amish Clockmaker (Book 3 in the Men of Lancaster County series) explores the men of an Amish community in Lancaster County, how their Amish beliefs play out in their unique roles, and the women who change their lives. Newlywed Matthew Zook is expanding his family's tack and feed store when a surprising property dispute puts the remodel on hold—and raises new questions about the location's mysterious past. Decades earlier, the same building housed a clock shop run by a young Amish clockmaker named Clayton Raber. Known for his hot temper, Clayton was arrested for the murder of his beloved wife, a crime almost everyone—including his own family members—believed he'd committed, even after charges were dropped. Isolated and feeling condemned by all, Clayton eventually broke from the church, left Lancaster County, and was never heard from again. Now the only way Matthew can solve the boundary issue and save his family's business is to track down the clockmaker. But does this put Matthew on the trail of a murderer? A timeless novel of truth, commitment, and the power of enduring love, where secrets of the past give way to hope for the future.
