My name's Bryn Mathis. I'm seventeen years old, and my world has been turned upside down and inside out. I'm racing toward a future I cannot control. I thought I had everything worked out, but then things changed. I thought we were all cut off from one another, but it turns out, we're not. They say people are talking, and word about me and what I've done is spreading like the virus that wiped out millions of people, leaving us teens alone to fend for ourselves. And depending on who you are, and what you eat for dinner, I'm either your salvation or your target. Content Warning: Mild violence and some foul language. Meant for older Young Adult readers (age 15+). This book is in the Dark Science Fiction / Horror / Post-Apocalyptic genres, featuring teen characters only. APOCALYPSIS SERIES READING ORDER Apocalypsis: Book 1 (Kahayatle) **Special introductory ebook price** Apocalypsis: Book 2 (Warpaint) Apocalypsis: Book 3 (Exodus) Apocalypsis: Book 4 (Haven) HERE’S WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT APOCALYPSIS: BOOK 3 (EXODUS): “This is my favorite of all the books because I couldn't put it down! I absolutely loved all the action and drama this book had...I found myself many times holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. I am so addicted to this series!” ~ Carol Allen, StarAngel’s Reviews “I couldn't finish this series fast enough!! The suspense was so killer. I read the first 3 books in 48 hours...it was that good. This is a must read.” ~ Kay Marle, Goodreads reviewer “I laughed, cried and sat in horror all while reading this...NOW THAT IS A GREAT BOOK! THE SERIES ROCKS! A MUST READ.” ~ Dystopian Doll, Amazon reviewer “I have no idea how Elle Casey does it. Every book is a masterpiece. There's never a slow or dull moment nor is there ever a dip in the plot. Usually in most books there's at least a boring passage or two but Mrs. Casey's books never have a dull moment. She can make a simple conversation between friends just as exciting and fun as a big fight scene. In fact some of my favorite moments in her books are just when her characters are interacting, making fun of each other or just eating lunch. The characters are so real and vivid that I find myself missing them once I've finished a series…” ~ Jamie, Blogger and Goodreads reviewer This series is dedicated to the amazing, wonderful Native Americans who populate our nation, continuing their traditions and reminding the rest of us that sometimes, progress isn’t always the best thing for our people. His discipline was so extreme and with no real help, even from the God this kid depended on. So with that being the issue in order for this child to find peace and safety for his own life he took to the streets. This child had no idea that the streets were filled with snakes and rat. He was living as if he was burning his own self at the stake; you guessed it was a self sacrifice if you would call-it. In this book you will find this child in numerous occasions where you might wish you were there to give him some help. But the whole time this child has recognized a force that was present with him, but yet unseen. Through the chapters of this book you may find some inserts of theological attempts to explain some of the phenomenal events. However it was done with the greatest attempts not to be religiously hypocritical. The story into this kids life will take you to places and reveal some truths often not spoken of about what goes on behind the wall in juvenile incarceration. The mind of the streets and the betrayal of friends or so called friends. It also sheds light on how being free regardless of the situation can be peaceful to some. Last but not least, youll get to take a novice look at life beyond the vial of what is seen and spoken of by many. All the lies told by the media and other false idea of thing that some only assume and have no real facts or life experience to prove it.

Book excerpt: Written by a retired British soldier, Deep Trouble is the first in a trilogy of novels telling the breathless, vivid story of one young recruit's experience of one of the greatest military invasions ever launched. 6 June 1944 - Somewhere over the Normandy coastline, Robbie Stokes sits in a glider, his Bren resting on the floor between his outstretched legs. The nose lowers and the glider descends rapidly: ten minutes of stomach-churning twists and turns until suddenly the call goes up to 'BRACE'. The belly makes contact with the ground and the first Allied troops tumble out into occupied Europe. For Robbie Stokes it is the beginning of 72 hours of brutal and relentless conflict: a test of character, a test of nerve, a test of comradeship, of the band of brothers around him. If they fail, then the Allied invasion fails. They must succeed on their longest day. The operation to Pegasus Bridge is one of the most famous of the Second World War. Taking place six hours before the famous Normandy landings, when six gliders deposited the 2nd Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry behind enemy lines with the orders to take and hold the bridges at Bénouville and Ranville. Part of this work has been previously published under the title, Well Past Trouble.

Book excerpt: Tilism-e-Hoshruba is an epic narrative of the adventures of the legendary Persian hero Emir Hamza—the protagonist of Hamza Nama—his sons and grandsons. The epic opens with the commander-in-chief of the Islamic army, Hamza, pursuing Laqa, who makes false claims to divinity. Laqa takes refuge in Kohistan, adjacent to the enchanted land of Hoshruba, ruled by the formidable King of Sahirs, Afrasiyab Jadoo. Afrasiyab reveres Laqa and deputes his sahirs or wizards to help him fight Hamza. Hamza’s grandson Asad then sets out to conquer Hoshruba, assisted by the clever trickster Amar, who possesses divine artefacts such as a cloak of invisibility and a magic pouch containing parallel worlds. Aided by powerful allies and beset at every step by magical snares, dangerous enchantments and seductive sorceresses, the Islamic army finally conquers Hoshruba. Tilism-e-Hoshruba has enthralled generations of readers with its chivalrous heroes, breathtakingly beautiful princesses, powerful sahirs, sahiras and demons. This brilliant condensed translation by Shahnaz Aijazuddin sensitively reinterprets the highly Persianized Urdu of the original text into this eminently readable book that retains the essence of the original.

Book excerpt: Lois Simmie was born in Edam, Saskatchewan in 1932. Filled with awe and wonder at the bountiful and remarkable world unfolding around her Simmie takes us on the journey of her life and the events that shaped her into a writer. She describes her whimsical youth in Saskatchewan in a bygone era of Frank Sinatra on the radio, Amos ‘n’ Andy, the jitterbug, jazz, square dances, and Hollywood movies every Friday night in the town hall. Simmie’s magical delight in all things transports us through the Depression and war years to childhood summer visits to Hopkinsville, Kentucky in her relatives’ Gone With the Wind-style southern mansion, an adventure in the lush beauty of Brazil, and to Scotland while writing her first non-fiction book, The Secret Lives of Sgt. John Wilson, about the murder of a young Scottish woman by her RCMP husband. Simmie fell in love with words at a young age but it isn’t until later in life that she takes up her calling as a writer while living in Saskatoon. She describes the burgeoning Saskatchewan writing scene as “electric” as she enters an exciting community of like-minded writers and poets, a hotbed of creativity and inspiration that is the impetus of her finest writing and the culmination of an astonishing life story.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: H. H. Munro, better known as "Saki," was born in Burma, the son of an inspector-general for the Burmese police. Sent to England to be educated at the Bedford Grammar School, he returned to Burma in 1893 and joined the police force there. In 1896, he returned again to England and began writing first for The Westminster Gazette and then as a foreign correspondent for The Morning Post. Best known for his wry and amusing stories, Saki depicts a world of drawing rooms, garden parties, and exclusive club rooms. His short stories at their best are extraordinarily compact and cameolike, wicked and witty, with a careless cruelty and a powerful vein of supernatural fantasy. They deal, in general, with the same group of upper-class Britishers, whose frivolous lives are sometimes complicated by animals—the talking cat who reveals their treacheries in love, the pet ferret who is evil incarnate. The nom de plume "Saki" was borrowed from the cupbearer in Omar Khayyam's 'The Rubaiyat'. Munro used it for political sketches contributed to the Westminster Gazette as early as 1896, later collected as Alice in Westminster. The stories and novels were published between that time and the outbreak of World War I, when he enlisted as a private, scorning a commission. He died of wounds from a sniper's bullet while in a shell hole near Beaumont-Hamel. One of his characters summed up Saki's stories as those that "are true enough to be interesting and not true enough to be tiresome.
