The most profound essence of the Islamic movement established by Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan is the flame of reform/renewal. This characteristic is more prominent than other characteristics. Theology, ideology, and action model of Muhammadiyah are renewal leading to Islamic modernism or reformism. Those reform endeavors are actualized to break the stagnation of ummah by fostering a progressive Islamic teachings. In addition, Muhammadiyah has pioneered the system of modern Islamic education, health, and social services, community empowerment through Al-Ma'un movement, women's movement in the public through 'Aisyiyah, and reform works which revive the advancement of Islamic world and modernization of civil life. This reform is departed from the theme of al-ruju ila al-Qur'an wa al-Sunnah, namely a return to the Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah. The endeavours of purification of Islam to pursue the authentic teachings, as well as to establish a progressive Islam. Despite it frequently assumed to be ad-hoc, the span of twentieth century Muhammadiyah reform is a breakthrough. In the advance, directly and indirectly, it has been a state of mind for the majority of Muslim in Indonesia, including the previous oppositions.

Book excerpt: This volume builds on previous notions of transmedia practices to develop the concept of transtexts, in order to account for both the industrial and user-generated contributions to the cross-media expansion of a story universe. On the one hand exists industrial transmedia texts, produced by supposedly authoritative authors or entities and directed to active audiences in the aim of fostering engagement. On the other hand are fan-produced transmedia texts, primarily intended for fellow members of the fan communities, with the Internet allowing for connections and collaboration between fans. Through both case studies and more general analyses of audience participation and reception, employing the artistic, marketing, textual, industrial, cultural, social, geographical, technological, historical, financial and legal perspectives, this multidisciplinary collection aims to expand our understanding of both transmedia storytelling and fan-produced transmedia texts.

This book was released on 2020-12-14 with total page 409 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: **Please note that other publishers claim they have full English translation, whereas what they actually have is this same version with 409 pages. We are truthful in our claim that this actually the abridged version. Also, we bring this product at lower price for more circulation. This is one of the best English translation of Fazail E Amaal, particularly Quranic aayat and Ahadith has been translated using current English rather than the old style English, Its very easy to understand for all age group. The page quality, printing and binding is also very nice. Faza'il-e-A'maal (originally titled Tablighi Nisab -Curriculum for Tabligh), is a religious text composed mainly of treatises by the Indian Deobandi hadith scholar Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi for Tablighi Jamaat. The book is written in simple and lucid Urdu and is a collection of pious and edifying tales, based mostly on inspirational hadith traditions and anecdotes. The Fazaail-e-Aamaal, of Hadhrat Sheikhul Hadith, MoulanaMuhammad Zakariyya Khandelwi (RA), is among the most famousand well known Islamic books in the world. Allah Ta'ala has granted this book great acceptance and popularity throughout the globe. Thousands of people read this book and benefit from it. To date it has been translated into more than a dozen languages. Last year (1432), some members of the Ta'limi Board (KZN) visited Nizaamuddeen and met one of the elders, Hadhrat MoulanaYa'qoob Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu), the ustaaz of Moulana Sa'aadSaahib (daamat barakaatuhu). Hadhrat Moulana advised them to commence the reading of the Fazaail-e-Aamaal to the children in order to encourage them to carry out the necessary aamaal (good deeds). He mentioned that we are teaching only the masaail (laws) of salaah, etc., in the makaatib but the children will not be encouraged to perform salaah by just learning the masaail. We will have to read to them the fazaail (virtues and benefits) to encourage them to perform salaah. Hadhrat Moulana Ya'qoob Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu) also advised that the Fazaail-e-Aamaal be simplified and brought down to the level of the children so that they are encouraged to engage in Aamaal-e-Saaliha (good deeds). Therefore, in the light of Hadhrat Moulana Ya'qoob Saahib's advice, Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Salejee Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu), the principal of Madrasah Taleemuddeen, initiated the simplifying of the Fazaail-e-Aamaal for the benefit of the children in the makaatib. This book is divided into 7 parts, viz. Stories of Sahaabah, Virtuesof Salaah, Virtues of reciting the Quraan, Virtues of zikr, Virtues of Durood Shareef, Virtues of Ramadhaan and virtues of tableegh. Apart of each section should be read out and explained daily to the children. This should be done 5 minutes before they leave for home. The following order should be followed in reading this book to the children. Open permission is granted for the reprinting of this booklet provided it is without any alterations. The publisher of this book has made it very clear that "Open permission is granted for the reprinting of this booklet provided it is without any alterations." Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Hidayah has dominated the field of Islamic jurisprudence since the day it was written over 800 years ago. It has been the primary text used by Muslims jurist to issue authentic and reliable rulings on Islamic law according to the school of Imam Abu Hanifa (d 150H/767CE). The Hidayah commands such an authoritative position amongst the doctors of law that the knowledge of a scholar who has not read it is not considered reliable. It has been a standard text in the curricula of Islamic law schools since the 12th century. It was first translated into English by Charles Hamilton in 1791. Around 70 huge commentaries, some spread over more than a dozen volumes have been written on it. The number of explanatory glosses is in thousands. Comprehensive in content and conveniently organized, with the publication of this all previous works that discussed Islamic jurisprudence according to the Hanafi law become outmoded and soon fell into disuse. If revealed books are not taken into account, never has a book received so much attention as the Hidayah. This landmark publication of the Hidayah not only has been translated in its entirety for the first time but has been done so from Arabic, the language in which it was written. The author, Shaykh Al Islam, Burhan Al-Din Marghanani (d 593 AH/ 1197 CE) was considered to be the leading jurist of the Muslim world in his times. "The hidayah is justly celebrated as the most practical and useful summary compilation of Hanafi jurisprudence. It has been a standard text in the curricula of Islamic law schools since the 12th century. It was first translated by Charles Hamilton in 1791. A new translation into modern English has been long overdue. This translation by Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee is both precise and straight forward. With his knowledge of Islamic law and jurispudence combined with his command of both the Arabic and English languages, he has conveyed the meaning of the original with great clarity. The hidayah is a dense work, intended for use in teaching Hanafi fiqh - it is a work that needs explication if its arguments are to be understood fully. This the translator has provided through this valuable notes" Dr Mohammad Akram Nadwi, research fellow, Oxford centre for Islamic studies, Oxford
