Book excerpt: Le travail présenté dans cette thèse porte sur l'étude du problème de commande des systèmes dynamiques lorsque les modèles les décrivant sont imparfaitement connus. Face à cette difficulté de modélisation des systèmes réels, deux voies récentes sont adoptées pour résoudre ce problème. La première a été la modélisation et la commande qualitative basée sur le raisonnement qualitatif. La deuxième a été la commande floue basée sur la logique floue. Une nouvelle méthodologie de commande qualitative (Contrôleur Qualitatif à Auto Organisation) est développée en utilisant un algorithme d'apprentissage. L'apprentissage sert pour deux orientations: l'apprentissage de commande afin de synthétiser un signal de commande lisse et d'obtenir les performances désirées. L'apprentissage paramétrique afin de déterminer les paramètres du contrôleur qualitatif en-ligne. Une étude de performance du contrôleur flou sur un procédé réel monovariable est établie. Pour cette étude, nous avons appliqué la commande floue sur un procédé thermique (Enceinte Climatique). Ensuite, la problématique des systèmes multivariables utilisant la commande floue a été abordée. Pour cela, une structure du contrôleur flou hiérarchisée avec anticipation a été proposée. La validation de cette structure hiérarchisée est établie sur l'Enceinte Climatique. Une étude comparative entre les deux types de commande sur des modèles du «Benchmark» qui sont assez riches en différents niveaux de complexité est effectuée. Enfin, une étude comparative à l'aide d'applications réelles sur un procédé thermique (aérotherme) a été établie pour deux configurations: monovariable et multivariable (système interconnecté) .

Book excerpt: La commande floue est une alternative aux approches proposées par l'automatique classique pour le contrôle des systèmes complexes. Les objectifs de performance du système bouclé et les actions correspondantes sont synthétisés sous la forme de règles d'expertise, qui sont énoncées dans un langage simple. Cette technique permet donc de s'affranchir de l'utilisation de modèles mathématiques parfois difficiles à obtenir. Cette thèse s'inscrit dans la mouvance des travaux actuels avec pour résultats la synthèse de stratégies multivariables et l'application de la commande floue à des systèmes automobiles. Dans une première partie, les principes de la logique floue et de la commande floue sont rappelés. Les origines des non-linéarités de la commande sont explicitées, et l'auteur propose deux simplifications du mécanisme de traitement des règles permettant de réduire les temps de calcul. Dans une deuxième partie, la conception des lois de commande déduites de l'expertise est illustrée sur des exemples. L'acquisition de la connaissance, l'écriture des règles de commande et le réglage du contrôleur sont détaillés. Cette démarche est ensuite mise en œuvre sur deux problèmes de contrôle d'un moteur à injection directe. Les solutions proposées contribuent à l'amélioration du rendement tout en diminuant la pollution et la consommation. Enfin, cette méthode experte est employée pour résoudre un problème multivariable. Les limitations de l'approche précédente conduisent l'auteur, dans une dernière phase, à proposer une nouvelle méthode de conception des contrôleurs flous. Un modèle flou du système est identifié à partir d'un ensemble de mesures. Puis, les règles de commande sont déduites des règles du modèle par une pseudo-inversion. Pour favoriser les échanges d'information entre les experts du domaine et les automaticiens, les règles restent simples et explicites. Cette méthode est ensuite évaluée sur des systèmes monovariables et multivariables.

En effet, à partir d'une base de données disponible du système à étudier, un modèle flou global de commande, formé par la pondération d'un ensemble de modèles linéaires locaux flous de type Tafcagi-Sugeno, est établi. Les paramètres de ce modèle global sont ensuite adaptés par l'algorithme récursif des moindres carrés, avec facteur d'oubli. La méthode de commande proposée est de type optimale par critère quadratique. Elle est basée sur un modèle neuronal de simulation et un modèle flou de commande de type Takagi-Sugeno. L'erreur résultante entre les sorties de ces deux modèles servira pour adapter les paramètres du modale flou et par conséquent les paramètres du correcteur. Cette méthode a été appliquée avec succès pour la commande de là température et de l'humidité internes de l'air d'une serre agricole
