Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Miss Baxter's boarding house is off to a shaky start when a mysterious young woman appears, out of the blue, on her doorstep. Maimoona says she is a gift sent by her mother, Miss Baxter's former lover. The resemblance is uncanny, as is the kinky sexual appetite. Moona insists upon addressing Miss Baxter only as Mistress, and expresses a not to subtle interest in being educated in the same way as her mother. But, considering herself retired from the dominatrix business, Miss Baxter decides to play matchmaker instead, and pairs Moona with Jessica, a sociology student in her boarding house. It's lust at first sight with Jessica and Moona, and with Miss Baxter's help, they begin to explore each other's kinky side as Moona confesses her alien abduction fantasy. If you enjoy your kink served up with a generous helping of love and tenderness, this is the story for you.

Hilary Baxter is a retired dominatrix who runs a boarding house for young women. Equal parts loving mother and strict disciplinarian, her hope is to help each of her boarders live up to her full potential. Contains the stories: Book 1: Julie the Pianist: When new boarder Julie falls for Miss Baxter’s sexy assistant, Anise, it’s lust at first sight. And when Anise’s shirt rides up, exposing her bruises, Julie enters another world where she learns that not everything that hurts is necessarily bad. Book 2: Anise the Snowboarder: When her first boarder, Anise, turns out to be a bit of a handful, Miss Baxter finds herself falling back on old techniques to keep Anise on the straight and narrow. The two mix like oil and water. Harsh words are spoken, apologies are made, and a new special therapy regime is agreed upon. Book 3: Chef Margo: Her new chef, Margo, quickly develo...iss Baxter pairs Moona with Jessica, another of her boarders. It’s lust at first sight, and things get even hotter as Moona confesses her alien abduction fantasy, in this tender and kinky story that will leave you breathless. Book 5: Hilary the Au Pair: The year is 1982. Young Hilary Baxter is an au pair in a far away land, looking after Hasiba, an exotic and attractive woman, nearly her own age. It’s an easy assignment, until Hasiba proves to be a handful. Hilary proposes a strict system of rules and punishments to correct the situation, but will Hasiba agree to Hilary’s terms? And will Hilary’s growing feelings for Hasiba spoil the dynamic? Book 6: Hasiba the Lost Love: When the mother of one of her boarders comes to town for a visit, Miss Baxter seems not quite her usual self. Picking up on the dynamic, two of her boarders decide to put the situation right. A little late night eves dropping, with a swat and a moan, lets them know they’ve done their job.

Book excerpt: Education in Tanzania in the Era of Globalisation Challenges and Opportunities is a product of papers presented at a National Education Conference held in Dodoma, Tanzania in November 2016 and organised by the Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development, East Africa (AKU-IED-EA). At present, Tanzanias development direction is guided by Vision 2025, which aims to achieve a high quality livelihood for its people be attainment of Vision 2025 will depend largely on rapid socio-economic development based on several social and economic pillars including, most importantly, education. Clearly, for Tanzania, the scope and quality of education remains the single most important prerequisite to the attainment of Vision 2025 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The individual chapters in this publication, and their collective thrust, discuss the challenges in the education system in good faith and in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration guided by the belief that it is not the responsibility of the Government alone to see how these can be addressed. AKU IED EA has identd this as the responsibility of all well-meaning corporate bodies and citizens, and initiated thst conference of its type as its contribution to thore conference, as well as the publication, has to be seen as a model of good practice for universities in terms of sharing knowledge, experience, and practice with other stakeholders who are not in the academy, and more so, with politicians as well as government policy planners. The various authors of Education in Tanzania in the Era of Globalisation Challenges and Opportunities discuss issues within the context of the Tanzanian political economy against thects of globalization and seek to initiate a new kind of debate that is long overdue; a debate aimed at charting out appropriate strategies whose objective is to improve the quality of education in Tanzania so that it becomes a useful vehicle in enhancing processes of social change, transformation and development.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Secured transactions law has been subjected to a close scrutiny over the last two decades. One of the main reasons for this is the importance of availability of credit and the consequent need to reform collateral laws in order to improve access to finance. The ability to give security effectively influences not only the cost of credit but also, in some cases, whether credit will be available at all. This requires rules that are transparent and readily accessible to non-lawyers as well as rules that recognise the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. This book critically engages with the challenges posed by inefficient secured credit laws. It offers a comparative analysis of the reasons and the needs for a secured transactions law reform, as well as discussion of the steps taken in many common law, civil law and mixed law jurisdictions. The book, written under the auspices of the Secured Transactions Law Reform Project, informs the debate about reform and advances novel arguments written by world renowned experts that will build upon the existing literature, and as such will be of interest to academics, legal practitioners and the judiciary involved in secured transactions law around the world. The text considers reform initiatives that have taken place up to the end of April 2016. It has not been possible to incorporate events since then into the discussion. However, notable developments include the banks decree passed by the Italian Government on 29th June 2016, and the adoption of the Model Law on Secured Transactions by UNCITRAL on 1st July 2016.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Movement Disorder Emergencies: Diagnosis and Treatment provides a fresh and unique approach to what is already a high-profile subspecialty area in clinical neurology. The disorders covered in this volume are standard fare in the field but emphasize the urgencies and emergencies that can occur. One of the very attractive features of the field of movement disorders is that diagnosis is often based on unique visible and sometimes audible phenomenological symptoms and signs. Therefore, in this era of highly sophisticated laboratory and radiological diagnostic tools, the diagnosis of many movement disorders is still largely made in the clinic where pattern recognition is key. Crucial to astute clinical diagnosis is broad clinical experience. In short, you have to have seen one to recognize one! Patients with movement disorders nearly always present as outpatients but, as aptly recognized by Drs. Frucht and Fahn, this may include acute manifestations leading to emergency presentations, often in an emergency room setting, where they are very likely to be unrecognized and therefore poorly managed. The authors define an “emergency” movement disorder as one in which failure to promptly diagnose and treat may result in significant morbidity or mortality. However, they also stress the importance of certain “can’t miss” diagnoses such as Wilson’s disease, dopa-responsive dystonia, and Whipple’s disease in which delayed diagnosis in less emergent situations can lead to slowly evolving and often irreversible neurological damage with tragic consequences.
