Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Messianic Symbols in the Passover Seder' by Moshe Gold brings together thisJewish festival and Messiah incredibly well. It has two mainsections - the Cultural History of the Early Church and The SederTable. As Moshe writes, "...in order to fully appreciate how theSeder developed it is equally important to understand thereligious and political environment during the late Second Templeperiod and after. Therefore, before an examination of theelements and ritual, a brief history of the relationship betweenJudaism and the church in the period from the mid-30's thru the late 100's is essential." The first section of this book does exactly this. The second part of this book looks at the different items on theSeder table, their historical development, and their Messianicmeaning. In this meticulously researched book - there are 73endnotes - Moshe makes a strong case that the modern JewishPassover Seder likely adopted many elements that wereintroduced by the believing (in Jesus) Jewish community of the post 70 AD period. The parallels with Jesus' last Passover Seder, and that of the early, predominately Jewish populated church are clearly seen through Moshe's insightful pen.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Learn More here: http: //doaseder.com Passover or Pesach is the first of seven appointed feasts of the L-rd, ordained by the L-rd, to commemorate the departure of the Hebrew nation from Egypt. As commanded in the Torah, "You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. And they shall not appear before Me empty handed." Exodus 23:15 The Torah, the first five books of Moses, is the written word of G-d, and the instructions and rituals for the holidays were passed down in the oral law. Every year in the spring, Jews around the world will prepare a seder as a memorial to the original Passover event, and in the same prescribed order given at Mt. Sinai over 3,000 years ago. It is important to G-d that the teachings and history of the Jewish people be preserved and passed down to all generations. As we read through the Haggadah, you will notice the introduction of a dash in the spellings of G-d and L-rd. According to Jewish law and tradition, it was forbidden to erase or discard any written document with the names of our Creator, or even speak His Hebrew name Yod He Vav He. The word Jehovah is used by Christians to pronounce the four letters of the tetragrammaton, and the name Adonai is substituted when reading the Holy Scriptures or Torah. The true pronunciation of His Name has been lost. With great respect, we will reverence His holy name by continuing this tradition. The symbolism in the seder meal will remind us that G-d remembered His people in bondage and He had a plan for their deliverance.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is the story of an ancient people--a story of oppression and darkness, of judgment and wrath... and ultimately, a story of freedom. The account of Israel's redemptive rebirth not only reminds us of how the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob delivered His chosen nation, but how He has made a Way of Salvation for all peoples... "Behold! The Lamb of God who is taking away the sin of the world!" Behold the Lamb is an untraditional, modern, Messianic Passover Haggadah that tells the Passover story like no other: with Scripture. Approximately ninety percent of the Behold the Lamb 'avodah (Hebrew: "service" or "ceremony") is nothing more than a compilation of relevant passages from the Word, resulting in a unique and dramatic alternative to the customary Passover seder. Can there be a meaningful remembrance of the Passover without seder plates and afikomen? Is the Word of God sufficient to bring the Passover to life in the hearts and minds of our children? Find out in this Scriptural journey memorializing the Feast of freedom and faithfulness--a celebration of the Lamb, by whose sacrifice we are redeemed. Behold! The Messiah Yeshua... our Pesach! (Revised edition includes supplementary teaching material, matzah recipes and more.)
