We didn't have a horse to ride so I rode the pigs. This early life on a working farm prepared me for valuable experience when WWII took me abroad. This book began as a series of stories in the Transylvania Times newspaper of Brevard, North Carolina. The editor suggested that a book be made from the stories. Order directly from the publisher.
