Para ello se analizarán los factores que afectan al rendimiento global de producción y los que afectan a los aspectos ergonómicos de los procesos de alimentación. El motivo por el cual se ha hecho este estudio es debido a los problemas de rendimiento y de ergonomía derivados del uso de unas bandejas termoconformadas para la alimentación de subproductos en la línea. Una línea de acondicionamiento de perfumes de L'Oréal consta de varios puntos de alimentación: los frascos, las bombas, los tapones, el film y las cajas. Dicho trabajo se centrará en los subproductos alimentados con dichas bandejas, es decir, los frascos y los tapones. Al considerarse una fábrica de productos de lujo, es condición indispensable para las propuestas de mejora el asegurar la calidad final del producto. La metodología utilizada es mediante el análisis de 3 ejes principales: las bandejas termoconformadas en sí mismas, los modos de alimentar la línea y el diseño de la configuración de la línea en general. En este proyecto se incluye: un análisis funcional de la línea; una evaluación de las propuestas previas (compatibilidad con la línea, factibilidad con los proveedores y análisis de costes) y finalmente una selección de las soluciones ofrecidas. El resultado final no es una única y válida solución para todos los problemas mencionados sino que más bien se presenta una serie de medidas, ofrecidas a los directores de la fábrica, que en conjunto permiten alcanzar a su vez los objetivos de mejoras de rendimiento teniendo en cuenta los aspectos ergonómicos de las tareas de alimentación.
