Book excerpt: Developing countries are facing one of the most critical encounters about the training and development of the skills and knowledge of their people. Through skilled and knowledgeable employees an organization can perform successfully and might strive within the field of their pathway. Recent studies demonstrated that employees were unable to apply their whole learned skills from training at their workplace. The percentage had found was relatively low. Thus, this research aims to determine the key factors of training transfer and employees' job performance, and how these factors are correlated to each other within the context of Palestinian higher education institutions. The purpose of this study was to determine the training transfer factors effect on employees' job performance through the mediating of training transfer; and provide suggestion how firm could improve its employee performance through effective training programs. The study employed exploratory design, with quantitative approach and random sampling using self-administrated questionnaires. Data were obtained from 294 academic respondents from five public and private universities in Gaza. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approached and AMOS software were used as statistical analysis tools for analyzing data. This study reveals that there is a convincing relationship between pre-training factors, process training factors and post training factors with training transfer and employees' job performance in higher education sectors in Palestine. The overall findings confirm the mediation effect of training transfer on the relationship between training factors and employees' job performance. This study would be helpful for the professionals of university to develop human resource with appropriate strategies and maximize the training transfer and effectively manage the training programs in order to enhance academic staff performance.
