It is something to sink your metaphysical teeth into. It covers the relationships between Matter, Energy and Mentality, using Energy Redistribution (Unnecessary Action) as a common feature in the Universe. The book should appeal, especially, to those of a mathematical bent, where a number of descriptive equations are presented in an attempt to describe certain elusive aspects of Reality. The book also includes some more-detailed sections, which consider the relationships between Information and Entropy in various Systems.

Book excerpt: What if it turned out that we weren't just bodies with brains, but embodied souls, and that this explained a whole lot about our psychology and reality as a whole?Cosmologists now agree that two thirds of the universe is invisible and non-material. They call this invisible substance dark energy. Dark energy offers new opportunities for the investigation of the age-old question of the nature of mind. The problem is, the mind sciences haven't yet caught up with the possibilities of this new cosmology and are still trying, unsuccessfully, to prove that the mind is a product of the material brain. In Mind Beyond Matter, Dr Gavin Rowland tackles perhaps the greatest scientific mystery of all - the problem of consciousness. He analyses the subject in depth and finds convincing evidence that the mind is a non-material thing. In the process, he develops a new science of the non-material, and a new understanding of the mind, of mental illness, of spirituality and of God. Dr Rowland is a General Medical Practitioner with a special interest in Mental Health.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Basic Structures of Reality, Colin McGinn deals with questions of metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind from the vantage point of physics. Combining general philosophy with physics, he covers such topics as the definition of matter, the nature of space, motion, gravity, electromagnetic fields, the character of physical knowledge, and consciousness and meaning. Throughout, McGinn maintains an historical perspective and seeks to determine how much we really know of the world described by physics. He defends a version of "structuralism": the thesis that our knowledge is partial and merely abstract, leaving a large epistemological gap at the center of physics. McGinn then connects this element of mystery to parallel mysteries in relation to the mind. Consciousness emerges as just one more mystery of physics. A theory of matter and space is developed, according to which the impenetrability of matter is explained as the deletion of volumes of space. McGinn proposes a philosophy of science that distinguishes physics from both psychology and biology, explores the ontology of energy, and considers the relevance of physics to seemingly remote fields such as the theory of meaning. In the form of a series of aphorisms, the author presents a metaphysical system that takes laws of nature as fundamental. With its broad scope and deep study of the fundamental questions at the heart of philosophy of physics, this book is not intended primarily for specialists, but for the general philosophical reader interested in how physics and philosophy intersect.

Book excerpt: Framework of Reality highlights unfolding developments that are revolutionizing our understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe. Scientists and scientifically trained researchers are providing us with a rich and expanding base of knowledge about strange and unusual phenomena observed in quantum physics, cosmology, biology, psychology, disease and healing, death, and reincarnation investigations. It is a companion book to Frontiers of Knowledge, which is a large research book with all the details and all the references. Framework provides all the same information in a summary form. (It can be considered the "Cliffs Notes" for Frontiers of Knowledge.) Insights from quantum physics suggest that the basis of our physical universe is mental—conscious thought. Other discoveries are causing us to redefine our concepts of mind and this elusive thing we call consciousness. The verified near-death out-of-body experiences (OBEs) show that consciousness can exist in a nonphysical form--indicating that mind is not tied to the physical brain. New concepts of reality are also needed to explain the incredibly fine-tuned characteristics of our physical universe. The mysterious nature of dark energy and dark matter suggests that their source resides in subtle-energy dimensions. Strong hints of subtle dimensions are also provided in near-death OBEs, subtle-energy healings, and documented accounts of very unusual mind-body effects. Thousands of between-lives spiritual regression cases and the deeper near-death experiences provide us with fairly consistent descriptions of a nonphysical realm populated by souls living in a highly developed culture that is interacting with humans. This revolutionary information demands a revised and expanded view of reality—one in which spirituality is the underlying source of reality. Highlights on all of the above and more are presented in Framework of Reality, and they provide readers with the outline of this new revolution in knowledge.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How should we approach life and its challenges? Are they real? What do we really know about reality? Could modern physics help us to understand? What kind of worldview does it really shape for us? What is the connection between reality and consciousness? Do we live in a simulation? In this book Johanna Blomqvist, Ph.D., is diving into the question of reality, a topic which has been of interest to her since childhood. The desire to understand the world, reality and the purpose of everything has also led her to the frontiers of science and to topics physicists do not often approach. Her first book ”From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing - A Physicist’s Journey to Mind and Healing” was published on Amazon in 2018. Hyperreality is a book about the nature of our reality and the hypotheses we have made about it through the centuries. Johanna Blomqvist describes many cases and research experiments that will puzzle your mind. Our reality seems to be something other than what the current prevailing materialistic worldview suggests. **From Chapter 2. Are we only machines?:** There are many phenomena that we encounter almost daily, but which do not fit into the current materialistic worldview. Such phenomena are often classified as anomalies or parapsychological when it is impossible to explain them with prevailing theories. Such phenomena include premonitions, intuition, telepathy, premonition dreams, and synchronicity. Science seeks to find objective truth, but is such a goal even possible? After all, all objective information is based on subjective observation. Robert Jahn and Brenda Dunne, founders of the PEAR (Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research) laboratory, which has studied the effect of the mind on matter for decades, say: "Mind without matter leaves us with a world of ephemeral abstraction; matter without mind eliminates the essence of life itself.” ** It seems that the transition to the so-called post-materialistic era is essential. We don’t have any alternatives, if we want to continue our life as humanity on Earth into the future. We have to change our thinking! It is time to understand our effect on physical reality and move to a new era, beyond materialism. You exist — dive into hyperreality, in which you are a significant participant! Hyperreality book has been written to everyone seeking for answers about the nature of our reality, purpose of everything, consciousness and the connection between science and spirituality. It may help you to understand phenomena that you earlier have only omitted. This book is the answer that Johanna Blomqvist herself wanted to find as a teen, when she was contemplating the question of reality, why we are here, and how should one live. *** About the Author Johanna Blomqvist, Ph.D., is a physicist, entrepreneur and internationally published author. In her work, she combines a wide variety of fields and methods in a unique way, often discussing topics from the cutting edge and unconventional areas of science. Blomqvist is also a sought-after lecturer, educator and energy healer. Since childhood she has been interested in understanding our reality, consciousness and our role in this universe. Johanna's first book "From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing - A Physicist's Journey to Mind and Healing" was published on May 2018. She has written also "Hyperreality - Beyond the Horizon where Physics Meets Consciousness" (2021) and "The Mystery of Water - A Physicist's Dive into Our Deepest Essence" (Fall, 2024). Johanna lives in Helsinki, Finland.

Book excerpt: Although we are all living in the same world, we are simultaneously each living in our own seperate universe, where each person observes himself as the center of that universe. Each person has a unique conditioning and belief structure that create his perspective in which he views reality. The world than interfaces witheach person to create a reality that conforms to his beliefs. A person's conditioning and beliefs affect his attitudes and emotions, which then magnetize certain energies that resonate to his state of being. In this way each individual is creating a seperate reality according to his perceptions of truth. What we percieve as reality is only the surface of a much deeper and greater truth. Beyond the apparent world lies the essence of life and a vast kingdom of hidden knowledge. Our conditioning and beliefs bind us to a certain perspective in which we view our reality. Perceptions of Reality show us how we can break free of the bondage of our conditioning that holds us in a life of mediocrity. When we become free from this bondage, we can change our perspective, which in turn, changes our perceptions. From a highter perspective we can see the larger picture of our lives and the world. We will see the circumstances that have created our present reality, and the relationships of events and experiences that were previously beyond our horizons of perception. From this higher perspective we will perceive the world in a new light. It will change brfore our eyes and interface with us in a new and more positive way. We will be able to take control of our lives, change our destiny and shape a new future. From this higher state of awareness, we will discover the portal to access the abstract mind, which is the mental function of genius and the doorway to revelation. From the perspective of revelation, we will open the doors into the absolute realms, beyond material time and space, and describes the perceptions of God, the soul, the world, and the paths to higher consciousness. Perceptions of Reality will show us how to access the abstract mind and open the doorways into revelation, creating a new reality, full of abundance, harmony and joy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Between 1953 and 1957, a group of political prisoners, codenamed X7, were incarcerated in a Siberian salt mine. They linked up telepathically with the Network of Light, groups of psychics stationed worldwide, and transmitted their story. Trapped for years deep in the earth, they began to refine the vibratory rate of the body and of surrounding matter until they could experience themselves as beings of Light—and experience Earth itself as Light. Their transmissions were transcribed by gifted American psychic Anne Edwards, future cofounder of the Scottish spiritual community Findhorn. In the 1970s, Edwards’ reports fell into the hands of British New Age leader Sir George Trevelyan, whose publication of them stirred up controversy in both mainstream and alternative communities. In this new edition, Robert Sardello not only explains the spiritual significance of these esoteric writings, but also guides readers through a process much like that described in the book. Sardello’s commentary enables readers to use the book as a guide to a path for transforming humankind and the earth, and argues persuasively that enacting this process at this moment in human history is crucial to survival and transcendence.

Book excerpt: Best Health Book of 2018 - American Book Fest. Best Science Books of 2018 - Bookbub. Every creation begins as a thought, from a symphony to a marriage to an ice cream cone to a rocket launch. When we have an intention, a complex chain of events begins in our brains. Thoughts travel as electrical impulses along neural pathways. When neurons fire together they wire together, creating electromagnetic fields. These fields are invisible energy, yet they influence the molecules of matter around us the way a magnet organizes iron filings. In Mind to Matter, award-winning researcher Dawson Church explains the science showing how our minds create matter. Different intentions produce different fields and different material creations. The thoughts and energy fields we cultivate in our minds condition the atoms and molecules around us. We can now trace the science behind each link in chain from thought to thing, showing the surprising ways in which our intentions create the material world. The science in the book is illustrated by many authentic case histories of people who harnessed the extraordinary power of the mind to create. They include: Adeline, whose Stage 4 cancer disappeared after she imagined "healing stars" Raymond Aaron and two of his clients, each of whom manifested $1 million in the same week Elon Musk, who bounced back from devastating tragedy to found Tesla and SpaceX Graham Phillips, who grew the emotional regulation part of his brain by 22.8% in two months Jennifer Graf, whose grandfather's long-dead radio came to life to play love songs the day of her wedding Harold, whose 80% hearing loss reversed in an hour Joe Marana, whose deceased sister comforted him from beyond the grave Rick Geggie, whose clogged arteries cleared up the night before cardiac surgery Matthias Rust, a teen whose "airplane flight for peace" changed the fate of superpowers Wanda Burch, whose dream about cancer told the surgeon exactly where to look for it An MIT freshman student who can precipitate sodium crystals with his mind John, who found himself floating out of his body and returned to find his AIDS healed Dean, whose cortisol levels dropped by 48% in a single hour In Mind to Matter, Dawson Church shows that these outcomes aren't a lucky accident only a few people experience. Neuroscientists have measured a specific brain wave formula that is linked to manifestation. This "flow state" can be learned and applied by anyone. New discoveries in epigenetics, neuroscience, electromagnetism, psychology, vibration, and quantum physics connect each step in the process by which mind creates matter. They show that the whole universe is self-organizing, and when our minds are in a state of flow, they coordinate with nature's emergent intelligence to produce synchronous outcomes. The book contained over 150 photos and illustrations that explain the process, while an "Extended Play" section at the end of each chapter provides additional resources. As Mind to Matter drops each piece of the scientific puzzle into place, it leaves us with a profound understanding of the enormous creative potential of our minds. It also gives us a road map to cultivating these remarkable brain states in our daily lives.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Throughout our lives, most of us have been conditioned to view the essence of our human being and the greater realm of creation itself as somehow mysterious and unknowable. In many ways, it seems as if we have relegated our lives to dense matter as the central focus of our identity. Exploring the possible inner or metaphysical realities can provide an orientation and detail necessary for greater understanding of ourselves and the dimensional spheres of life that connect us. My lifes work has included studying the underlying structures that support all physical manifestation as well as the beings that live within and work to sustain them. I believe that all inner and outer life forms and entities are dimensionally connected. We are continuously interacting with them unconsciously through various levels of our being, the collective consciousness of humanity, our planet, and the celestial bodies in the universe. My experience has been that the lack of awareness of our own greater being is what hinders our ability to comprehend the universe multidimensionally. In my view, before entering our present dense physical forms as humans, we have progressed through many developmental cycles, as did our Earth, solar system, and universe. This book documents what I have learned about the universal creative process and dimensional human evolution from our source beginnings to the present. I have tried to integrate the various accounts of the scientific, mythological, religious, and metaphysical versions of cosmology, cosmogenesis, and cosmogony. Exploring the inner realms of possible connections between humanity, Earth, and the cosmos has been a complex undertaking and journey into uncharted territory. My research, life experiences, and clairvoyant perspectives regarding the dimensionality of all life are the basis for the writing of this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From Science to God offers a crash course in the nature of reality. It is the story of Peter Russell's lifelong exploration into the nature of consciousness — how he went from being a strict atheist, studying mathematics and physics at Cambridge University, to realizing a profound personal synthesis of the mystical and scientific. Using his own tale of curiosity and exploration as the book’s backbone, Russell blends physics, psychology, and philosophy to reach a new worldview in which consciousness is a fundamental quality of creation. He shows how all the ingredients for this worldview are in place; nothing new needs to be discovered. We have only to put the pieces together and explore the new picture of reality that emerges. From Science to God is as much a personal story of an open-minded skeptic as it is a tour de force of scientific and religious paradigm shifts. Russell takes us from Galileo’s den to the lecture halls of Cambridge where he studied with Stephen Hawking. “If you had asked me then if there was a God,” says the best-selling author of his scientific beginnings, “I would have pointed to mathematics.” But no matter what empirical truths science offered Russell, one thorny question remained: How can something as immaterial as consciousness, ever arise from something as unconscious as matter?

It has been this author s mission for 30 years to develop a plausible theory to support how mere thoughts can tangibly influence future events. In this book the author presents a paradigm which shows how our right brain hemisphere can tap into a hidden domain which can influence the world around us. To accomplish this, he takes the reader through the subject of physics as it is known today and points out its recognized flaws and problems. He then introduces and explains Eastern Philosophy and ties it into Western Physics. In conjunction with this broadened view he explains how the human brain developed to comprehend both the Eastern and Western views of reality. He then ties all of these notions into a new view of nature which supports the premise that the future can be created with thoughts. In the final analysis he brings his readers through the necessary steps to put this knowledge to work to help them ordain their own reality.
