Um diese Ideen systematisch verwertbar zu machen und die Mitarbeiter als Einreicher daran teilhaben zulassen wird das Betriebliche Vorschlagswesen (BVW) in vielen Unternehmen genutzt. Das BVW ist ein partizipatives Optimierungssystem in dem die Verbesserungsvorschläge (VV) der Mitarbeiter aufgenommen und verwertet werden. Mit der Teilnahme an dem BVW ist es möglich, dass der Mitarbeiter einen Teil der Einsparungen als Prämie ausgeschüttet bekommt. Zur Mitwirkung an diesem Verbesserungsprozess im Managmentsystem müssen die Mitarbeiter eines Unternehmens motiviert sein teilzunehmen. Diese Motivation kann durch das Unternehmen mit geeigeneten Maßnahmen gesteigert werden oder durch Fehlverhalten vermindert werden. Diese Vertiefungsarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage wie die Mitarbeitermotivation gesteigert werden kann um quantitativ und qualitativ bessere VV zu erhalten. Mit einer Empfehlung von Maßnahmen, am Beispiel der XXX AG, sollen Möglichkeiten der Einflussnahme aufgezeigt werden.

Dies wirkt sich positiv auf die Produktivität der Mitarbeiter aus und trägt somit auch maßgeblich zum Unternehmenserfolg bei. In der folgenden Arbeit wird auf Möglichkeiten der Mitarbeitermotivation in Wirtschaftsunternehmen eingegangen und es wird die Fragestellung behandelt, ob und in wie weit eine Steigerung der Mitarbeitermotivation möglich ist und welcher Motivationsarten es von Seiten des Arbeitgebers bedarf, um diese zu erhöhen. Ausgehend von einer grundlegenden Definition des Motivationsbegriffs wird auf zwei verschiedenen Motivationstheorien eingegangen und Theorien von deren Vertretern aufgegriffen, dargestellt und erläutert. Im weitern Verlauf wird auf das Ideenmanagement eingegangen und dessen Grundsätze, Ziele und Abläufe aufzeigt und erläutert. Abschließend werden beide Aspekte miteinander verknüpft und es wird aufgezeigt, wie sich das Ideenmanagement auf die Motivation der im Unternehmen beschäftigten Mitarbeiter auswirkt.
