This reformation began nearly 2000 years ago as St. Mark was inspired to write, quoting Jesus himself, "The time has come. ... The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news." (Mark 1:15) To be genuine, the Lutheran Reformation, as well as all other church reformation movements in history, had to remain focused on our Savior's central reformation.
