Para la parte segunda y tercera de este libro decidimos incluir en el manual un caso real de plan de autoprotección y su correspondiente simulacro,con el objeto de ofrecer al lector un instrumento válido que le facilite la tarea de realizar un plan de autoprotección y su implantación de manera práctica y profesional, asumiendo con ello los autores las limitaciones que podía plantear el ejemplo, con sus pros (exposición y tratamiento de un caso real) y sus contras (limitar a un único ejemplo las posibilidades de desarrollo de otros casos). También queríamos que se reflejaran, no solamente los temas generales de carácter importante (que ya se tratan ampliamente en la bibliografía al respecto), sino también esos otros temas de no menos importancia que aparecen en la práctica del día a día, pero que debido a su particularidad no se encuentran normalmente reflejados en los libros.
