And I discovered that I take pleasure in remembering the good times, despite the bittersweet taste they left. I felt good when I talked about him, and the other people I have lost. And this book came into existence, as I also believed that it is important to help other people overcome grief and all of the other feelings associated with losing someone. Even though it is based on my personal stories, this book will teach you how to talk about people who are no longer in your life. And maybe even about pets, as we tend to grieve after them just as much. You will see that each encounter with death has had its impact, causing me to become a different person. But this is a good thing and I would never want to go back to the way I used to be.What do you stand to gain from reading this book? Death is not a final point. We have the power to keep those we have lost alive, by talking about them and remembering the good times. We should live in the present and not take life for granted. Things can change in a matter of seconds and we might never be able to go back. Embrace the change that comes with loss. Choose love as your weapon against death, and use it to heal your soul. Life should be more about experiences and people, as opposed to accumulating material things. Time remains the biggest commodity we have been given and we should use it wisely. Love your family, friends and pets, as much as you can. Be there. Create memories, as someday these will be useful in dealing with the pain of you no longer being there.
