Book Synopsis Le réseau social d'entreprise by : Garnier Alain
Download or read book Le réseau social d'entreprise written by Garnier Alain and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2011-05-24 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Functional Communication Quality by :
Download or read book Functional Communication Quality written by and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2021-11-22 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this volume researchers from American and European universities and institutes present their recent research on 'Functional Communication Quality'. Functional refers to the purposes of the communication process. The relations between these purposes and the best way to describe them, are some of the topics discussed. Communication refers to a complex interactive process. Relevant variables include the speech act of the participants, features of the message, chosen channel, moment, duration, frequency, environment. The participants in this process are individuals and groups as well as organizations and parts of organizations. Quality can be described from several points of view: a technical point of view with efficiency as its goal, an operative point of view which aims for effectiveness or an aesthetic point of view. This volume shows that a multi-perspective approach to Functional Communication Quality (FCQ) is the only way to obtain a better insight into this area of communication studies. The papers are grouped in four different chapters, each dealing with a different perspective on the theme: • FCQ in an organizational context; • FCQ and research methods; • FCQ and text analysis; • FCQ and electronic tools. The book also contains an overview of organizational communication research in France and Spain. This volume will be of interest to a broad audience of researchers and students in the field of organizational communication studies and the field of writing studies, communication consultants and communication managers, professional writers and software engineers.
Book Synopsis Strategy and Management of Industrial Brands by : Philippe Malaval
Download or read book Strategy and Management of Industrial Brands written by Philippe Malaval and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 410 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Strategy and Management of Industrial Brands is the first book devoted to business-to-business products and services. Looking at numerous companies, this book defines two brand objectives that are specific to the industrial and service sectors and which must be added to the traditional functions of branding: the minimization of risk as perceived by buyers, and the facilitation of the customer company's performance by the supplier brand. Different ways of classifying brands are suggested, providing a better understanding of brand strategies adopted by business-to-business companies, as well as new concepts such as brand `printability', `visibility', and `purchaseability'. Five major brand categories are dealt with in separate chapters: -entering goods brands; -intermediary equipment goods brands; -equipment goods brands; -business-to-business service brands; and -industrial distributor brands. From a practical point of view, the aim of the book is to address the main concerns of managers: How to create and protect brands? What type of visual identity is appropriate? How to manage international brands? An analysis of 1,500 industrial brands as well as 40 case studies are included in this book. These brands are used in both the industrial (automotive, building, aeronautics, IT, etc.) and consumer sectors (clothing, electronics, food packaging, telecommunications, etc.). This book has been written for professors and students of universities and business schools, as well as managers and people working in industry or the service sector.
Book Synopsis Systemics of Emergence by : Gianfranco Minati
Download or read book Systemics of Emergence written by Gianfranco Minati and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2006 with total page 776 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Within the General Systems Theory (GST) approach, it is possible to focus on "emergent" systemic properties (typically occurring in open, adaptive, anticipatory and chaotic systems), by stressing their specificity and their lack of reducibility into further components. In other words, emergence underlies the processes allowing the establishing of systemic properties. Research on emergence deals with experimental detection, modeling and simulation of processes giving rise to the occurrence of macroscopic (often complex and unexpected) behaviors in complex systems consisting of a large number of components. Actually such a theoretical and experimental effort relies on analytical methods, such as the ones used in modern theories of self-organization, collective-behaviors, phase transitions and artificial life. In sum, the research on emergence analyzes the engine of GST, while GST itself focuses on the general outcomes of this research, thus conceptually inducing an inter- and trans-disciplinary context. SYSTEMICS OF EMERGENCE: Research and Development is a volume devoted to exploring the core theoretical and disciplinary research problems of emergence processes from which systems are established. It focuses on emergence as the key point of any systemic process. This topic is dealt with within different disciplinary approaches, indicated by the organization in sections: 1) Applications; 2) Biology and human care; 3) Cognitive Science; 4) Emergence; 5) General Systems; 6) Learning; 7) Management; 8) Social Systems; 9) Systemic Approach and Information Science; 10) Theoretical issues in Systemics. The Editors and contributing authors have produced this volume to help, encourage and widen the work in this area of General Systems Research.
Book Synopsis Steel, State, and Labor by : Anthony Daley
Download or read book Steel, State, and Labor written by Anthony Daley and published by University of Pittsburgh Pre. This book was released on 2010-11-23 with total page 330 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The creation of wealth depends on the capacity of economic actors to adapt to market changes. Such adaptation, in turn, poses fundamental questions about the distribution of resources. Daley investigates the interaction among business, labor, and the state in France in the second half of the twentieth century and reveals how political dynamics refract market pressures. He explains how and why profitability came at the expense of union mobilization, unemployment, and management autonomy, vast amounts of state aid, and less national control over industrial decision making.

Book Synopsis La communication dans l'entreprise by : Philippe Suet
Download or read book La communication dans l'entreprise written by Philippe Suet and published by FeniXX. This book was released on 1969-01-01T00:00:00+01:00 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
