Die Untersuchung konzentriert sich auf die Beantwortung der folgenden Forschungsfrage: Inwiefern kann Learning Analytics die Drop-out-Rate an den Hochschulen beeinflussen? Um diese Frage zu beantworten, werden in Kapitel 2 zuerst die Hochschule im Wandel und anschließend bereits integrierte digitale Lernelemente sowie Lernformate an nationalen und internationalen Hochschulen betrachtet. Im Anschluss daran wird die neue lehr- und lerntechnische Veränderung durch den Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) untersucht. Zuerst werden dazu die Generierung von Daten und deren Komplexität anhand einer Klassifizierungsmöglichkeit verdeutlicht. Es folgt eine ausführliche Betrachtung von, in der Vergangenheit bereits erfolgter Digitalisierung an der Hochschule im Verhältnis zur neuen KI-Revolution. Kapitel 3 widmet sich im Anschluss dem Thema Learning-Analytics. Nach einer allgemeinen Definition wird Learning-Analytics als prozessorientierter Kreislauf dargelegt. Danach werden Vor- und Nachteile von Learning-Analytics behandelt. Es folgen eine Darstellung des Einsatzes von Learning-Analytics in der Hochschule und die Präsentation einiger bereits in Verwendung befindlicher Programme. Die Darlegung endet mit einem Ausblick auf eine abstrakte Zukunftsvision, der Beantwortung der Frage und Vorschlägen für weiterführende Forschungsthemen. Im Bereich der psychologischen Pädagogik ist Studienerfolg ein wichtiger Faktor für Studierende, Lehrende und Bildungseinrichtungen. This research study is the result of the research project "Open Online Learning for Digital and Networked Society (3.3-LMT-K-712-01-0189)". The project is funded by the European Social Fund according to the activity "Improvement of researchers' qualification by implementing world-class R&D projects" of Measure No. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712.
