Catherine MAYEUR-JAOUEN, ancienne élève de l’École Normale Supérieure et agrégée d’histoire, est professeur d’histoire de l’islam moderne et contemporain à l’Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (INALCO) et chercheur au Centre de recherches Moyen-Orient et Méditerranée (CERMOM). Chantal VERDEIL, diplômée de l’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris et agrégée d’histoire, est maître de conférences en histoire du monde arabe contemporain à l’INALCO et chercheur au CERMOM.
