Book excerpt: Il volume si caratterizza come sviluppo di "Didattica costruttivista", il precedente testo degli stessi autori, in cui venivano approfonditi gli elementi epistemologici del costruttivismo, individuandone l'applicazione didattica nella sintesi tra l'approccio radicale e quello sociale, in particolare nella dimensione collaborativa del gruppo, nelle pratiche riflessive e metacognitive e nell'utilizzo di metodologie quali le mappe concettuali e modelli mentali mutuati dal cognitivismo. Nel volume "Ambienti di apprendimento e nuove tecnologie" viene invece approfondito il concetto, e la relativa pratica, di ambiente di apprendimento come elemento centrale della didattica costruttivista. E' in questo, infatti, che si esplica fondamentalmente la professionalità di un docente costruttivista, che diventa progettista e regista di situazioni artefatte, nel senso di fatte ad arte, atte a sviluppare e facilitare negli studenti processi di apprendimento significativo. Il testo vuole investigare quel delicato equilibrio tra l'aderenza al progetto e la valorizzazione del qui e ora che attraverso la capacità osservativa e riflessiva del docente si traduce nella concreta realizzazione di percorsi formativi di qualità. Ampio spazio viene quindi dedicato a due momenti centrali di questa azione professionale: l'analisi disciplinare e lo scaffolding. La prima come competenza ineludibile per la scelta, la selezione e il pieno utilizzo dei nodi concettuali, dei paradigmi epistemici e del senso storico-sociale delle discipline da insegnare; il secondo come espressione alta di quel sapere pratico e implicito che è componente essenziale della professionalità docente. Le numerose esperienze didattiche riportate nel testo cercano quindi di rendere esplicita questa azione complessa, evidenziando i passaggi, le svolte, i criteri, le intuizioni e le valutazioni che il docente costantemente sviluppa e agisce nel contesto vivo della classe per tenere o modificare la rotta in funzione della maggior efficacia formativa del percorso. In questa azione di progettazione e gestione di situazioni di apprendimento costruttiviste le tecnologie dell'informazione e della comunicazione, in particolare nella loro dimensione collaborativa, offrono ambienti particolarmente ricchi e stimolanti. La seconda parte del volume vuole approfondire questa dimensione con un approccio non specialistico ma fortemente didattico, partendo dal presupposto che non è l'uso delle tecnologie in quanto tali a qualificare l'azione formativa, ma l'impianto e il dispositivo metodologico-didattico strutturato dal docente che ne valorizza le potenzialità dentro un disegno consapevole. Improved private sector policies to encourage startup activity and competition can help countries compete in the digital age. Governments also need to ensure that firms pay their fair share of taxes, in part to fund this new social contract. The 2019 World Development Report presents an analysis of these issues based upon the available evidence.
