Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation is the final book of the New Testament, after the rest of the New Testament was written, God saw the need for one last book, and it is also the last book given by God to give us His final advice, instructions, encouragements and warnings. The Book of the Revelation also contains many apocalyptic visions including the plagues, seals, bowls, etc. In this book, I will not try to interpret all of the apocalyptic visions, because the Book of Revelation has much greater truths that we need to learn first, such as; Who and what is Babylon? How do we get out of Babylon? Who are the redeemed and how can we be among them? How does a person receive the Seal of God? What is the Seal of God? How does a person avoids the Mark of the Beast? What qualifies a person to enter the New Jerusalem? We need to know all of this and more as Judgment Day is fast approaching. And what I found in God's last book, will take most Christians out of their comfort zones, and out of Babylon. What I have to share in this book is far more important than endless speculation on the nature, timing and sequence of the apocalyptic events, with endless speculations as to who is the beast or the false prophets. I'm sure that you will be informed, warned, instructed, encouraged and blessed by this book, just as I was in writing it.

Book excerpt: The grace revolution is praised by millions, but the Bible shows it is an end-time apostasy from truth that will end in death for many and hell for a few. It sets the stage for the appearance of the man of lawlessness who will oppose Jesus at His coming and for the union of evangelicals and charismatics with the mother church. Jesus condemned the teaching of lawlessness and hell for a few who turn permanently from the truth they knew.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Verse-by-verse explanations with a literal translation Shouldn't a Bible commentary clarify what God's Word actually says? Going beyond questions of authorship, date, sources, and historicity, respected linguist and teacher Gundry offers a one-volume exposition of the New Testament that focuses on what is most useful for preaching, teaching, and individual study--what the biblical text really means. Providing interpretive observations in a "breezy" style that's easy to read and adaptable for oral use in pulpit or classroom presentations, Gundry directs his book to an evangelical audience. His crisp translation of the New Testament inserts various phrasings of passages in brackets, allowing for smooth transition from original text to alternative and contemporary readings. SAMPLE TEXT OF TRANSLATION JOHN'S PREDICTING A MORE POWERFUL BAPTIZER THAN HE (Mark 1:1-8) 1:1-3: The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, God's Son, according as it's written in Isaiah the prophet, "Behold, I'm sending my messenger before your face [= ahead of you], who'll pave your way [= the road you'll travel], [the messenger who is] the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.'" Pastors, Sunday school teachers, small-group leaders, and laypeople will welcome Gundry's non-technical explanations and clarifications. And Bible students at all levels will appreciate his sparkling interpretations of the NT Scriptures. A trustworthy guide for anybody wanting to delve deeper into God's Word. SAMPLE TEXT OF COMMENTS "Gospel" means "good news." Jews would associate this good news with Isaiah 52:7. Non-Jews would think of the good news of an emperor's accession to power, birthday, visit to a city, military victory, or bringing of prosperity to the empire. But Mark's good news has to do with the salvation and victory brought by Jesus over evil in all its demonic and physical forms. "The gospel of Jesus Christ" therefore means "the gospel about Jesus Christ" and refers to a proclaimed message ("the voice of one crying out"), not a book (though because books like Mark's contain that proclaimed message, the term came to refer to those books in the capitalized form of "Gospels" to distinguish them from the message, kept uncapitalized as "gospel").

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Spirit of the Matter is born from a love of truth and a love of God's word. When these two loves come together, we find the Scriptures are not only reliable and consistent, but a brilliantly designed set of instructions for life, reaching a depth of profundity that most Christian teachings fail to address. This book carefully examines the Christian notion that the Mosaic Law (Torah) no longer is applicable to believers and guides readers through an understanding of how and why the words of God spoken to the Old Testament writers are intensely relevant to people today. Readers will take a thought-provoking journey through topics such as: -Are we supposed to believe a literal seven-day account of creation in the book of Genesis? -Is it possible that the New Testament instructs those who believe in Jesus Christ to also obey certain commands in the Torah? -Is it conceivable that the Sabbath day as established in the creation story could also hold truths for the events of Revelation and the end times? This book will encourage you with a confidence that God's word holds much more for believers than most have been taught to expect.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A Christian is one who follows Christ, accepting the authority of his teachings and commands. Yet, according to the Christian Church doctrine, we don't need to keep Jesus' teachings and commands, we can reject some, or all, of them, and all we need to do "believe". The Christian Churches aren't really 'Christian', since they deny Christ by denying his teachings. Jesus warned this would happen and told us there would be harsh consequences. The church has set many of Jesus' and God's commands aside, as dictated by their 'lawless' church doctrines. I give examples of that in this book. Jesus experienced the same problem with the Jews. Instead of church doctrine, they had their 'traditions' or 'oral laws' which were making them lawless. How did Jesus deal with them? His parables give that answer, and I explain that in the second half of this book. This is an eye-opening book that will make you evaluate your Christian Church as to how faithful it is to Jesus and God's commands.

In The Lost Message of the End Times, Ian Miller guides the reader through the many Old and New Testament prophecies that speak of Jesus’s return. As he does so, he brings their powerful, hope-filled, faith-inspiring, and life-changing message to life. With clear and easily understood explanations, this book will show you how the Scriptures reveal a world of promise, not fear; a kingdom present, not to come; and the powerful bride as she is, not one that needs to be raptured away.

Which versions of the Hebrew Scriptures were authoritative for New Testament writers? The appearance of concepts, images, and passages from the Old Testament in the books of the New raises important questions about textual versions, allusions, and the differences between ancient and modern meaning. Written by ten distinguished scholars, Hearing the Old Testament in the New Testament first lays out significant foundational issues and then systematically investigates the use of the Old in the New Testament. In a culminating essay Andreas Kstenberger both questions and affirms the other contributors' findings. These essays together will reward a wide range of New Testament readers with a wealth of insights.

Book excerpt: In 2007, after being laid off from my job, I felt compelled to write what I knew the LORD was opening my eyes to the subject of UFO's. This all started in 1996 at a movie I had taken my two sons to called Independence Day. I truly believe I heard the voice of the LORD. Obviously, the voice was in my head but, so real I did turn my head to see who had spoken my name. The voice simply said; "Kevin, this is how it will happen!" The scene was two fighter pilots an Israeli and an Iranian standing shoulder to shoulder waiting for word from the US on when to attack the Alien ships. I knew it was an answer to a question that I wasn't even thinking of at the time. One I had given up hope that the LORD would give me an answer. Long ago I had asked the LORD if possible, could He show me how there would be a time of peace? Even though short, could this planet have peace with all the divisions that cause conflict? The answer was an attack or invasion from above. Satan has tried very hard to prevent me from telling what the Lord has shown me concerning Advanced Extraterrestrial Intervention. I got very ill and during the writing of this book had to have my 2nd heart transplant. Kevin Spencer is a native Houstonian and was born with a heart defect. He had five surgeries on his original heart from ages 5 to 23. In 1992 he received his first heart transplant and his 2nd heart transplant 3/27/11. Kevin, his wife Kelly and daughter Christina live in Kingwood, Texas.
