Book excerpt: He’s a single dad, and he needs a lady Chloe I massage naked guys for a living, but it’s strictly business. As a physical therapist, I get my hands on the hottest guys in sports, but I’m a professional. I have rules. And I’m *this* close to breaking every one of them. It’s all his fault: Austin “The Champ” Sherwood, the gorgeous football god. He’s most valuable on the field, and most desired in the bedroom. He’s my obnoxious patient. I hate him. I want him. But we’re forced together as he's recovering from a season-ending injury. Rejecting him should be easy. I shouldn’t want to date a client, but my heart melts when I see him with his baby daughter. A football god who’s not a player? He's a dream-come-true, but I can’t date him. Our forbidden romance could get me fired. But what will we lose if we walk away? Austin They call me the Champ, but I’m no player Let’s get one thing straight: I don’t date. When I see women, it’s just to get laid. That’s the way it is when you’re a single dad. Between my football career and raising my kid, I have no time to play the field. My world revolved around my baby girl until Chloe. She’s my stuck-up, hot as hell physical therapist. She’s mouthy. Gorgeous. Smart as hell. And she hates me. She doesn’t like football, and I’m a wide-receiver. She doesn’t have kids—I’m a single dad. Girls like her don’t go for guys like me, but I can’t get her out of my damn mind. I’ll play again when I heal from my injury, but her hands are the only ones I want on my body. She’s all attitude and sass until her clothes hit the floor. My daughter needs a mother—and Chloe's perfect. I've got one goal in mind, and it's not just scoring with the Lady. I want the whole nine yards.

Book excerpt: "Walking into that fight gym was the hardest thing Maureen Bryant had ever done, but the painful memories of the father she barely knew vanished the instant she beheld the fighter in the ring. All sculpted muscle and sun bronzed skin, Jack Ryan was the most gorgeous man she'd ever seen, a sleek Adonis whose powerful physique left her weak. But she knew better than to surrender her heart to another man who'd give her up without a second thought. One look at the gym's new owner and Jack Ryan almost went down for the count. yet he knew that beneath her elegant exterior, Sully's long-lost daughter couldn't have a heart. Sully had been the father that Jack had always needed, the only person who could have turned a troubled youth around. Now Jack was ready to do anything-even climb back into the ring for the biggest challenge of his life-to save Sully's gym from the woman who would let it die. But even as he put on the gloves, something told him the real fight would be in letting Maureen go ..."--Page 2 of cover.

Book excerpt: Creator of the famous Philip Marlowe, Raymond Chandler elevated the American hard-boiled detective genre to an art form. Chandler’s last four novels, published here in one volume, offer ample opportunity to savor the unique and utterly compelling fictional world that made his works modern classics. The Lady in the Lake moves Marlowe out of his usual habitat of city streets and into the mountains outside of Los Angeles in his strange search for a missing woman. The Little Sister takes Marlowe to Hollywood, where he tries to find a sweet young thing’s missing brother, uncovering on the way a little blackmail, a lot of drugs, and more than enough murder. In The Long Goodbye, a case involving a war-scarred drunk and his nymphomaniac wife has Marlowe constantly on the move: a psychotic gangster’s on his trail, he’s in trouble with the cops, and more and more corpses keep turning up. Playback features a well-endowed redhead who leads Marlowe to the California coast to solve a tale of big money and, of course, murder. Throughout these masterpieces, Marlowe’s wry humor and existential sense of his job prove yet again why he has become one of the most recognized and imitated characters in fiction. Featuring the iconic character that inspired the forthcoming film Marlowe, starring Liam Neeson.

Book excerpt: "Possibly they died in the hands of British MI-5 Intelligent agents who have been spying on them", said Glyn Jones, a former British Intelligent agent who had been recruited from Special Air Service (SAS) - British elite air-force— as he was giving comments on the death of Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed, (Indonesian magazine, Gatra, October 11, 1997), quoted from the German tabloid (Dos Neue). Having been tracing the route of Paul's blood sample, which was examined by the judges in France, Al-Fayed concluded that such the blood sample was not Paul's; it had been changed in order to cover the murder. Then he uttered: "What happened to Diana and my son was nothing but a murder, and I won't just keep silent until I get the truth." (Indonesian Newspaper, Republika, September 1, 2000). According to Thomas, the target of MOSSAD actually was not Dodi and Diana. MOSSAD has never interested in these couple. What they need was "the informer", a person who gives them information on the illegal weapon traders that sell weapons to Israel's enemies. For that reason, MOSSAD dropped its field agent Maurice, who was well known as "an excellent manipulator". (Indonesian tabloid, Aura, No.31/Year IV, 1st Week, September 2000). Although Al-Fayed had to accept the verdict stated by the State Court in London, he still believes that Diana and his son died due to the conspiracy. The verdict itself was based on the conclusions of a group of jury- eleven of them-, and it was read by the judge Scott Baker. It says that the death of Diana and Dodi was merely a traffic accident caused by the drunken driver. Gisele Paul, a mother of Dodi's driver and simultaneously his body guard, Henry Paul, who was accused of being drunk when driving, agreed with Al-Fayed. She is much convinced that her son died due to the complicated high-rank conspiracy. "The truth will never be revealed", she said desperately. (Indonesian magazine Gatra, No. 23, Year XIV, April 17-23, 2008). Will this case be over just like that? Absolutely not!! This novel will deeply analyze all the questions coming up due to the above statements. An Indonesian senior literary man, Taufiq Ismail, whose great name is much known by Indonesian nation, commented as follows: "His logical plots were very smart and able to lead us to believe that the scenario of the murder of Princess Diana wouldn't be quite different from this "semi-fiction" story composed by Indra Adil." - Pustaka Al-Kautsar Publisher -

It begins with her life on Esterbrooke Plantation where she meets the love of her life and takes them through old age. They grow in their faith and love as the years go by, and they learn to cherish each other. They raise their children to respect their faith and to love animals. Marla and Lance are our main characters. He and his family are from Spain, and they own the plantation. Marla’s dad is the caretaker of the plantation. This story carries them through the courtship, the children, and into old age together. Their faith and the fact that they put Christ first in their marriage keeps them strong. They love the horses, cats, and donkeys that are on the plantation. And they love watching their children share their values as they grow into adulthood.
