Il tient compte des transactions au niveau le plus détaillé et sa mise en œuvre comprend différentes étapes basées sur les enquêtes Marketing et l’estimation statistique. La pertinence du modèle est mise en évidence au travers d’un cas d’étude concernant les transactions effectuées au cours d’une année sur une liaison définie. Tenant compte des spécificités du réseau nous obtenons des estimateurs que nous pouvons interpréter et qui permettent de prédire la demande et d’évaluer l’élasticité-prix d’es produits. Les résultats obtenus, pour différents segments de clientèle et périodes de l’année, sont cohérents et comparables avec les parts de marché réels.
