Book excerpt: Le monde de l'industrie pharmaceutique est très vaste : nombreux domaines sont déployés avec notamment les secteurs des affaires réglementaires, de la recherche et du développement, de la production, de la distribution, du marketing.... Tous ces domaines sont largement intriqués dans le seul but de continuellement élargir l'offre de soins tout en garantissant une sécurité optimale des consommateurs. La qualité pharmaceutique étant essentielle, elle fait l'objet d'un domaine en pleine expansion depuis quelques années avec la mise en place de nombreuses normes nationales et internationales afin d'uniformiser les pratiques. Le but de ce travail a consisté en l'appréhension de l'aspect réglementaire des entreprises pharmaceutiques afin de comprendre et de décrire la logistique d'un laboratoire exploitant et de son système qualité. En effet, dans un premier temps a été étudiée la notion de qualité de façon générale, puis plus spécifiquement en l'appliquant au vaste monde de l'industrie pharmaceutique. Via une analyse bibliographique plus approfondie en second temps, une description des divers organismes réglementaires et de leurs missions a pu être rédigée afin d'analyser les guides de référence du domaine de la qualité et certaines normes essentielles. Enfin, toutes ces définitions et notions ont pu être assimilées de façon plus concrète grâce à un travail réalisé sur le terrain au sein d'un laboratoire exploitant : la troisième partie de cet ouvrage évoque les missions d'un laboratoire exploitant en élaborant une description de ses fonctions, alors que la quatrième et dernière partie se consacre à la description concrète des missions du service qualité de l'entreprise Amgen® France. La complémentarité entre l'analyse bibliographique et la mise en application des connaissances au sein d'un entreprise fait la force de ce travail. Face à l'industrialisation de plus en plus massive dans notre monde actuel, la qualité de notre système de santé dépend entre autres des normes qualité exigées aux divers laboratoires.

L'analyse de deux périodes successives entre 2018 et 2020 a permis de démontrer que la situation ne s'améliore pas. Toute les classes ATC sont concernées par les ruptures. Outre les conséquences organisationnelles et financières lourdes, les ruptures ont également un impact important sur les patients, premières victimes des ruptures. Malgré les mesures déjà en place en France pour lutter contre les ruptures, celles-ci restent encore très nombreuses aujourd'hui. Pour que des mesures impactantes soient mises en place, celles-ci devraient être prises à l'échelle européenne, plutôt qu'à l'échelle nationale au niveau de chaque état membre.
