Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The theory presented in this book is new only in the sense that it has been revitalized of recent date. It is, in fact, as old as the world. Those who have seen the results of this theory in practice have called it miraculous. Others who have yet to see and learn and understand have called it fakery. I have taken upon myself the task of trying to give as complete and accurate a picture of a person working with this theory as my ability permits. To understand him and interpret him for you is what I am trying to do. He thinks and acts from unshakable knowledge through a Source that most of us are only beginning to recognize dimly. The way in which the Source works through him will have to be understood for us to accept.

Book excerpt: "We mortals operate on wave lengths from the Universal, the Trinity; these are our life waves. They are distributed, one wave from each of the ruling suns. Each of our waves is on a set length or frequency; the blending of the three waves is the Power. This sets the pattern of our individual frequency. It is the source of our personality, our identity and it is as distinct and individual as our own finger-prints. "On the strength of our wave we, similar to a planet, operate by our magnetic field through the medium and receive the knowledge we need from the vast pool of wisdom. It is given to us for our use, impartially and unstintingly, to the capacity of our desire and application. The Universal Power has no restrictions for any man but recognition of the Power in operation and obedience unto it. "The intelligence in operation proves itself over and over again. It gives inspiration to the mind. We remain confused and drugged by many laws and are, therefore, not open to accept the wisdom from the Power of Powers. To obtain knowledge we must seek it and then our vibrant field opens to the vast pool of wisdom." Table of Contents DEDICATION CHAPTER ONE. INTRODUCTION CHAPTER TWO. MECHANICS CHAPTER THREE. CONCLUSION "We accept without question the influence of the moon on tides; we never dispute the movement of the sun and the planets controlling the changes of the seasons; we accept the magnetic electrical field governing planetary action, but we are usually skeptical that the sun and planetary movements influence our personality and affairs. Since we are only another form of creation why should they not regulate or affect us, too?"

Book excerpt: Now Ruth Montgomery, the acclaimed bestselling author of Threshold to Tomorrow, joins forces with Mr. A. the most amazing healer of our time, to tell the story of his extraordinary powers and the astounding yet completely authentic cures he has achieved in over a half century of treating seemingly "hopeless" cases. These cases range from crippling arthritis to malignant tumors, from paralysis to near-blindness. The grateful patients include many famous personalities as well as thousands of ordinary men and women. The method Mr. A uses is the most ancient of all healing arts, "the laying on of hands" utilizing the vital life energy he has been blessed with. This energy is real, just as the cures described in this book are absolutely real and convincing. Here is both the enthralling story of a remarkable man and an eye-opening illumination of a great untapped source of healing that may lie within many of us today.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Old Theory Until now, there was only one theory regarding the source of Earth's magnetic field, which is the internal dynamo theory. This theory was accepted because it offered the best explanation at the time. Also, much research has been done to support the theory. According to the internal dynamo theory, a dynamo near the center of the planet generates the current that produces the magnetic field. This dynamo would be in the liquid outer core of the planet. It would produce the magnetic axis and project it from the planet. The axis would expand and spread the magnetic field around the planet. This theory also suggests that the internal dynamo is sustaining itself by using fuel from Earth's core. The internal dynamo theory has changed over the years. At first scientists thought that a bar magnet was in the center of the planet and the compass needle pointed to the poles of that magnet. This made perfect sense at the time because we can see that the same thing happens when we put a compass near a bar magnet. The Bar Magnet In The Sun image demonstrates the idea of the bar magnet theory. However, this example shows the bar magnet imbedded within the sun because just like the planets, the sun also has a magnetic field, which is more complex than Earth's magnetic field. Scientists have tried to use the internal dynamo theory to explain the magnetic fields of all the planets, some moons, and the sun. However, the old model does not work for the sun, moon, and other planets. The bar magnet concept lasted a long time as the main theory regarding the source of Earth's magnetic field. However, while trying to apply it to other cases, scientists found problems with the theory. Over the years, they discovered that a bar magnet could not hold magnetism above the temperature of 770 degrees centigrade because high heat destroys magnetism. This caused the theory to gradually evolve over time.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Darwin named Geography as 'Queen of the sciences'. His observations of geographical connections had revealed the phenomenon of Life in a remarkably structured Earth-world as inter-locked dynamic systems. This 'Systems View of Life' is reviving at a time when we are facing a crisis of collapse in world systems, and the prospect of a breaking world, as a result of reckless human activities driven by amoral values. We are all geographers, embarked on a voyage in search of the optimum location with the promise of support and betterment of our future living conditions. But, for most of the world's people, this is an experience of Life fraught with hardship and deprivation. Compelled to take stock of our deteriorating environment, as well as to question the values we hold, the message is that we have the collective restorative power of geographical knowledge which can be applied to achieve a better world.

Book excerpt: Armed with only six passages in the Bible—often known as the "Clobber Passages"—the conservative Christian position has been one that stands against the full inclusion of our LGBTQ siblings. UnClobber reexamines each of those frequently quoted passages of Scripture, alternating with author Colby Martin's own story of being fired from an evangelical megachurch when they discovered his stance on sexuality. UnClobber reexamines what the Bible says (and does not say) about homosexuality in such a way that sheds divine light on outdated and inaccurate assumptions and interpretations. This new edition equips study groups and congregations with questions for discussion and a sermon series guide for preachers.
