In einem ersten Punkt soll es um die Basisfähigkeiten gehen, die zum Sprechen lernen erforderlich sind. Um nachzuvollziehen zu können, ob bei einem Kind eine Verzögerung oder Störung der Sprachentwicklung vorliegt, muss man zunächst einmal wissen, wie eine normale Entwicklung abläuft. Nachdem man nun weiß, wie die idealtypische Sprachentwicklung stattfindet, kann man gezielt schauen, in welchen Bereichen genau Störungen einhergehen können. Sprachstörungen können verschiedene Ursachen haben, so kann bei einem Kind eine Verzögerung oder Störung der Sprachentwicklung vorliegen. Dazu wird die idealtypische Sprachentwicklung. in den einzelnen linguistischen Ebenen (phonetisch-phonologisch, semantisch-lexikalisch, morphologisch-syntaktisch) betrachtet. Die Störungen der Basisfunktionen, die Mehrsprachigkeit und der Aspekt der sozio-kulturellen Einflussfaktoren sollen im Rahmen dieser Arbeit nicht weiter thematisiert werden. Auf weitergehende Ausführungen zur Sprachentwicklungsverzögerung sowie sensorischen, organischen, mentalen oder gravierenden sozial-emotionalen Defiziten bei den Sprachentwicklungsstörungen wird ebenfalls verzichtet, um den Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit einzugrenzen. Das Thema der Sprachentwicklungsstörungen, bei denen jeweils der Bezug zu den linguistischen Ebenen hergestellt wird, soll hier im Vordergrund stehen. Dazu wird zunächst einmal auf die Basisfähigkeiten zur Sprech- und Sprachentwicklung eingegangen.

Gemäß der Tragweite der Sprache beschäftigt sich diese Arbeit mit der Thematik der Sprachentwicklung. Den Anstoß für die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Thema lieferten mehrere Ereignisse. Zum einen ist da die eigene Erfahrung einer Sprachstörung, dem Stigmatismus, bei dem es sich um eine Störung der Aussprache von Zischlauten handelt, die mit einer Sprachtherapie im Vorschulalter behandelt werden konnte. Zum anderen zeigte sich mir bei einem Praktikum im Kindergarten ein sehr schwankendes Sprachniveau. Ein 2jähriges Mädchen war in ihren sprachlichen Äußerungen vielen 3jährigen voraus. Wobei ein 3jähriges Mädchen kaum sprach, und wenn nur Zweiwortsätze benutzte. Und schließlich habe ich in meiner Familie momentan selbst die Freude diese sprachliche Entwicklung ein Stück weit miterleben zu können. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen stellt sich die Frage, wie die Sprachentwicklung verläuft, wann abgrenzend von einer Störung gesprochen werden kann und welche Behandlungsmöglichkeiten hier Anwendung finden. Im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit sollen somit die Grundstrukturen des Verlaufs der Sprachentwicklung skizziert werden. Beginnend mit der vorsprachlichen Phase, über die Aussprache des ersten Wortes, hin zur Äußerung von Zwei- und Mehrwortsätzen und der weiteren Entwicklung im Vorschulalter. Besonders soll hier die Rolle der Eltern herausgestellt werden, wobei der Beitrag der Eltern am Sprachentwicklungsprozess aufgegriffen und analysiert wird. Im zweiten Teil erfolgt eine Betrachtung auftretender Sprachstörungen, bei der ein Schwerpunkt auf die Sprachentwicklungsstörungen gelegt werden soll, da diese die Grundlage weiterer Störungen bilden. Und im Anschluss werden die pädagogischen Handlungsansätze dargestellt, die einerseits durch die Eltern initiiert werden können und andererseits in der Sprachtherapie Anwendung finden.

Danach setzte ich mich mit Spracherwerbsstörungen bei Kindern auseinander, sah mich bestätigt, dass es verschiedenste Störungen gibt und diese sehr oft mit Entwicklungsverzögerungen zusammenhängen. Durch Fachliteratur und ein informatives Gespräch mit einer Logopädin erfuhr ich, wie Störungen des Spracherwerbsprozesses erfasst und therapiert werden können. Meine Hypothese, dass Auffälligkeiten erfolgreich behandelt werden können, stimmt nur teilweise, gibt es doch auch Kinder, welche die Sprache leider nie entdecken. Durch diese Maturaarbeit wurden mir Spracherwerbsstörungen von Kindern näher gebracht. Dadurch wurde mir bewusst gemacht, dass diese auch zu Problemen innerhalb einer Familie führen können. Die Erkenntnis, dass es vielen Kindern mit der entsprechenden Hilfe von Fachpersonen und Umfeld trotz erschwerter Bedingungen gelingt, den Zugang zur Sprache zu finden, stimmt mich jedoch positiv. Die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema des Spracherwerbs und dessen Störungen war wichtig für mich, denn als zukünftige Kindergartenlehrerin oder Mutter, kann das Wissen, welches ich hier erlangte, bestimmt von grossem Nutzen sein. Ich würde auch ein zweites Mal dieses Thema wählen, könnte man sich noch einmal entscheiden.
