Book Synopsis Tourism Research and Landscape Interpretation by : Werner Kreisel
Download or read book Tourism Research and Landscape Interpretation written by Werner Kreisel and published by Göttingen University Press. This book was released on 2019 with total page 343 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The central task of tourism research is to advocate for sustainability. In order to do justice to the various components relating to tourism, such as aspects of the natural and cultural landscape as well as the economic, sociocultural and political situation, an integrative approach is necessary. The “landscape” is the foundation of tourism. Landscapes have their own value, a value that visitors and even locals are often not conscious of. “Landscape interpretation” and “heritage interpretation” attempt to remedy this defi cit by defi ning, vividly presenting and “staging” the essential aspects of a landscape. This makes it possible to enhance awareness of the value of a landscape and its need to be protected, thereby achieving a positive change in the behaviour of visitors. The present volume introduces various initiatives, which illustrate the importance of landscape interpretation for tourism research.
Book Synopsis Original – Interpretation – Rezeption by : Walter Reicher
Download or read book Original – Interpretation – Rezeption written by Walter Reicher and published by Hollitzer Wissenschaftsverlag. This book was released on 2020-06-01 with total page 461 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book Synopsis Modern Legal Interpretation by : Marko Novak
Download or read book Modern Legal Interpretation written by Marko Novak and published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. This book was released on 2019-01-24 with total page 203 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Legalism or legal formalism usually depicts judges as resolving cases by allegedly merely applying pre-existing legal rules. They do not seem to legislate, exercise discretion, balance or pursue policies, and they definitely do not look outside of conventional legal texts for guidance in deciding new cases. For them, the law is an autonomous domain of knowledge and technique. What they follow are the maxims of clarity, determinacy, and coherence of law. This perception of law and adjudication is sometimes designated as “an orthodox lawyering”. However, at least in certain cases, it is very difficult to say that legalism is not an inappropriate theory or a method of legal interpretation. Different theories have attested that legal interpretation is much more than just legalism, which appears to be far too naïve. In the framework of modern legal interpretation, the following questions can be raised. Is it possible to integrate legalism in a coherent theory of legal interpretation? Is legalism as a distinctive theory of legal interpretation still a feasible theory of interpretation? How can such a formalist approach withstand a critique from Dworkinian moral interpretivism or accusations of being a myth, masking political preferences from legal realists? These and many other issues about legal interpretation are discussed in this book by prominent legal philosophers and legal theorists.
Book Synopsis The Epistemology of Reading and Interpretation by : René van Woudenberg
Download or read book The Epistemology of Reading and Interpretation written by René van Woudenberg and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2021-09-16 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Reading and textual interpretation are ordinary human activities, performed inside as well as outside academia, but precisely how they function as unique sources of knowledge is not well understood. In this book, René van Woudenberg explores the nature of reading and how it is distinct from perception and (attending to) testimony, which are two widely acknowledged knowledge sources. After distinguishing seven accounts of interpretation, van Woudenberg discusses the question of whether all reading inevitably involves interpretation, and shows that although reading and interpretation often go together, they are distinct activities. He goes on to argue that both reading and interpretation can be paths to realistically conceived truth, and explains the conditions under which we are justified in believing that they do indeed lead us to the truth. Along the way, he offers clear and novel analyses of reading, meaning, interpretation, and interpretative knowledge.

This book was released on with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I have written many books and articles on various topics but since 2013, I have devoted myself fully in writing the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English and with the grace of Allah, I have completed the whole Quran on 29th October 2020 with 84 books. I believe there is a great need in the whole world for the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran to be written in English. Currently, there is a great misunderstanding about Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims globally. The misunderstanding of the meaning of the Holy Quran among Muslims will lead to the wrong practice of Islam which leads to the wrong actions of Muslims. The wrong actions of Muslims will lead to misunderstandings about Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims. The wrong actions of the Muslims have led to many miseries and wars among Muslims. The wrong actions of Muslims have also led to many wars and clashes between Muslims and non-Muslims. In order to avoid miseries, wars and clashes from taking place between the whole mankind in the whole world, the whole mankind in the whole world need to understand the true teaching of Islam. There is no other way for the whole mankind to understand the true teaching of Islam unless the whole mankind is able to read and understand the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran. The whole mankind is only able to read and understand the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran when it is written in the universal language of the world (English). For this very reason I have written the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English. Prof. Nasoha Bin Saabin
