Dans une seconde partie, l'auteur aborde les différentes étapes cliniques impératifs cliniques relatifs à la conception des prothèses à attachements, qui font partie intégrante de l'analyse pré-prothétique. Pour la troisième partie, l'auteur aborde la classification de KENNEDY des différents édentements, et les problèmes liés aux configurations de leur reconstruction prothétiques. La quatrième partie repose sur la classification synthétique de ces attachements ainsi que les systèmes complémentaires. Enfin dans la cinquième et dernière partie l'auteur étudie les critères de satisfaction du patient et du praticien, et souligne en conclusion l'importance de la maîtrise à la fois des données théoriques et pratiques par le praticien.

Malgré l’absence de contre-indication aux implants, les contraintes liées à ces types d’édentement (résorption osseuse) l’amène à proposer des thérapeutiques amovibles, comme alternative à un traitement implantaire fixé. Dans une deuxième partie nous nous intéressons à la singularité du traitement des édentements terminaux (classe 1 et 2 de Kennedy). Finalement, la présentation d’un cas clinique d’édentement de classe 1 de Kennedy mandibulaire, traité par une PPAM stabilisée par implants nous permet de mettre en évidence l’intérêt de la création d’un appui implantaire sous la selle prothétique (amélioration de la sustentation de la selle prothétique).

Matricellular receptors are defined as (cell-surface) receptors that bind extracellular matrix (ECM) structural proteins and soluble factors dynamically acting on ECM homeostasis. Matricellular receptors mediate numerous signalings from the extracellular environment to cell nucleus and drive main biological functions that are cell growth, survival and migration. Numerous data from the last decade evidence that matricellular receptors are biosensors that allow to a tumor cell answering to microenvironmental variations, and in this sense they are important contributors to tumor cell malignancy. Matricellular receptors represent thus valuable targets for the development of original anti-cancer strategies. Original reports, bibliographic reviews or hypotheses are welcome to improve the basic knowledge of matricellular receptor properties, their spatio-temporal regulation, the dynamic formation of complex receptors and the impact of such interactions on the invasive properties of tumor cells. Biological, biophysical and pharmacological, as well as in silico contributions will be appreciated.
