Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My book is about three girls who are very mean and rich. They came from different states, and they also run the school. The three popular girls are so very rich and very spoiled to the bone. Each of the three girls have different personalities; they are always expressing their styles of clothes that all 3 of them wear to school everyday. Chloe tries to spend all of her money so she can buy clothes online. She does not get along with her sister Amy. Chloe hates going to school every day; she is mean to a lot of people at that school. Chloe never gets to spend any time with her beau because she is always working and also doing her homework after she gets off from work. The two of them argue a lot. She does not have the perfect family. She is the hottest chick at school. Summer is just the sweetest person that you will ever meet. She does not always yell at people. Her favorite color is yellow. Summer has a sister named Naomi. Let me tell you something else, they never agree on anything with each other you could possibly name of. The two of them would definitely honestly fight about it. Summer used to have a boyfriend named Max, but I am not going to tell you what happened to their past relationship. Kaylee was the more fly chick and a hot, sexy chick. She was not always so sweet for looks can be so deceiving. She can stay mad at anyone for a very long time. It takes her a long time to get over something that made her very angry. I totally forgot where Kaylee lives anyway. Kaylee loves going to school; she is a straight A-student. She loves to party with her friends and drink all night long. Kaylee really does not have a curfew; she can come home anytime. She would never date any guys that have really bad breath. Kaylee’s high school sweetheart is Jake Stanley. The two of them have been dating ever since middle school and now in high school. She fell head over heels for that guy. He rides motorcycles. He is basically the love of her life. Jake and Kaylee do everything together like going out dancing or hanging out with his friends. They make the perfect couple. He makes her laugh and smile. They both make each other happy. What they have is real love, not puppy love. So you need to read to find out what happens to these three girls in my book. It is a very interesting book, You are going to really like it. It is very funny at the same time and very sad too. There are a lot of funny parts in the book that make me laugh.

Book excerpt: I am a Standupster, A Second Generation Survivors Account, by the Daughter of David Zauder, is the first-ever biography of Internationally Acclaimed Holocaust and Anti-bullying Educator and Speaker, Karen Zauder Brass. Her book is a very rare exploration into the effects of being raised by a parent who suffered the inhumanity of genocide and its unimaginable costs. Brass comes out of the shadows and openly expresses what so few Second Generation Survivors are willing to discuss. The deep injury to their survivor parents psyches cannot simply be put aside and has deep and lasting effects on their children. From her earliest years, Brass was fully aware of who her surviving parent needed her to be. This is a book of deep introspection that also shares the Authors path to self-acceptance, happiness, and her powerful desire to make changes in our world by educating audiences, one human being at a time, to not stand by and allow for the suffering of others; To be a Standupster. Brass provides the descriptive background of her Father, David Zauders survival of the Krakow Ghetto and four concentration camps including Auschwitz. His survival of a true hell on Earth, and his success in emigrating from Poland, after his liberation by General Pattons 3rd Army Tank Division, then travel from Germany to America and becoming one of this countrys leading cornet and trumpet players will inspire you and touch your heart. For educators, Brass weaves her Fathers story into a groundbreaking international anti-bullying campaign which has been experienced by thousands of Middle and High School aged students, adults, and hundreds of high-ranking military officials. Acclaimed by educators, principals and parents alike, Brass Standupster presentations and campaign has been effective in reducing bullying in schools because it provides a rallying cry for everyone to never stand by in the face of hatred, bigotry, and injustice; the program calls on the audience to use personal responsibility and moral leadership to rise together as being a Standupster to stop the bullying.

Book excerpt: A multinational clandestine resistance has come together to fight against a new global cabal. Spear-headed by their top operatives, Cory Bryson and Amit Rubin, they seek to reveal this cabal for what it is: a secret combination slowly eroding the freedoms of the world to fit their power agendas. As time is running out, and new enemies threaten to take the conflict to open warfare, Bryson and Amit must face overwhelming odds to stop a tyrannical power grab. The emergence of this new economic order, or NEO21 as it is sometimes referred to, has thrown an already destabilized world further into chaos. Citizens struggle to navigate the difficult choices ahead of them in an increasingly divisive and conflictual world where a war between freedom and authoritarianism is waged in the shadows. "Dark Agendas of Power is a well-written, engaging, and fast-paced [book] that captures the reader’s attention and imagination from the first page. The well-developed characters and fast-paced plot lead to an enjoyable reading experience. All readers will be thoroughly engaged and anxiously reading to the last page to find out the outcome for their favorite characters." ~ BookBaby

Book excerpt: Kayleigh McEnany describes her path to the White House podium, bringing the reader behind the scenes in the world’s most powerful building and illuminating how faith got her through. If you would have told me that in the year 2020 I would stand at the White House podium and communicate with the American people as COVID-19 ravaged the globe and violent protests beset the nation, I would have told you that you were crazy. But Jesus Christ had this very plan for my life. From White House intern to White House press secretary, from production assistant to national television host, from Catholic all-girls high school to Harvard Law School, God has guided my path through uncharted territory. In For Such a Time as This, I will chronicle my journey to the White House and offer never-before-told anecdotes about what really happened within the Trump administration. You will experience some of the most high stakes moments in the West Wing right alongside me as I reveal how faith got me through.

Book excerpt: The #metoo movement, particularly the horrific Larry Nasser abuse, shows with frightening clarity the vulnerability of young women to male predators; all the Touchtone girls I encountered suffered similar or worse fates. The book is a pilgrimage, a quest story, divided into five sections. Part I explores the authors first year at the facility, the difficulty and eventual success of establishing my group in such a chaotic and contradictory culture. It recreates their writing sessions, and features the vivid, dramatic personalities of the girls who participated as well as the steep learning curve on which she found herself daily. Part II moves swiftly through the trials and victories between the first and last years, and offers brief profiles of three of the residents who held special resonance to the author. During this time she published an award-winning anthology of poems by the girls, a NYC filmmaker created a documentary film, many readings and public performances took place and received several awards for the program. Part III tells of the joint venture with The Hotchkiss School, revealing the differences yet common ground between the two groups of girls.

Book excerpt: The ninth exhilarating and original Firefly novel tying into the critically acclaimed and fan-beloved series, from creator Joss Whedon, follows Mal, Book and the rest of the crew mounting a madcap heist to untangle themselves from a sinister web of lies on a backwater moon. Stranded and Broke It all started with the geese. The Firefly crew is eager to get paid for their latest job, but when payment arrives as a gaggle of geese instead of a purse, their stay on the planet Brome gets an indefinite extension. Don’t matter that the geese will fetch a pretty penny once they get somewhere to sell them. Without coin, they can’t buy fuel, and without fuel, they can’t get off-world. Serenity is stuck. A Figure from the Past Luckily the foreman of the local fuel refinery, Lyle Horne, wants to hire them, but not to work in the factory. A philanthropic authority known as The Governess has been kidnapping his workers. Lyle’s fixing to get them back—with the help of Mal and his crew. Only trouble is, Lyle’s got a mysterious past with Shepherd Book, one the preacher ain’t too keen to talk about. Plans Go Awry Out of options and out of time, they launch a three-pronged plan: Mal will break into her fortress of an estate to retrieve the workers, Inara and Simon will pose as potential donors to the Governess’s charity as a distraction, and Jayne will stay behind to keep an eye on Lyle. But things never do go smooth, and soon the crew finds they have more than a few geese running amuck on Serenity.

Here be darkly cheery tales of ancient creatures beneath still waters, in the attic, or the shadows right by the bed. Herein an autistic hiker meets a cryptid who wants her camera; a Japanese tanuki seeks his fox daughter; and two women fall in love, never mind one's a swamp monster. Here be stories of changelings, nix, and demons adopted, of hungry kraken and cryptids we'd see if only, if only we looked into treetops, behind doors, or in our own back gardens. Here there be monsters. Thank all the gods.

Book excerpt: Emily's psychic abilities have grown since the acceptance of her “gift” and the defeat of the father and son sociopaths, the Nelsons, whom she has sent away to prison for life. But when an old friend of her boyfriend, Tony, comes to Charles City, Emily is suspicious and fears things may not be as they seem. Something, or someone, a “Shadow” of darkness, appears to be taking over the bodies of new friends and old. Then Max, Emily’s murdered dog from her childhood, suddenly comes onto the scene. Emily is certain the ghost dog’s presence means big trouble is brewing. As her fears grow, the arrival of a young murder victim, adds to her stress, but she vows to find a way to help the child, no matter what. Her visions aren’t working and only adding to her confusion. A young man shows up, ostensibly to be of assistance. He claims to be her ‘soulmate’ of sorts. But is he? Or is he simply symbolic of more trouble on the horizon for Emily and her true love? Will Emily accept his help to protect those most important to her from an evil, vengeful ghost, and prevent him from turning the innocent into killers? And will she discover where the child’s body is hidden and who killed her, so the young girl and her family can finally have peace? Perhaps, in this case, only the “Shadow” knows.
