But it is also the perfect book to read to their children when they are still young and listen to everything with incredible attention and wonderful infinite availability, because it is fun, ironic, fantastic ... "Johnny il riccio" is a metaphor of life that teaches you to believe in love and friendship, which teaches perseverance and determination, which teaches courage and redemption. And it teaches to respect the hedgehogs that too often suddenly end up under the wheels of our cars. After reading it, every hedgehog will be Johnny ..!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice has been hailed as one of the most popular romantic novels in English literature. From tangled love affairs and heart-breaking betrayals, Pride and Prejudice is the story of an unexpected love affair that leaves the entire town buzzing. Brimming with gossip and guile, see why the love story between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy has withstood the test of time. Mrs. Bennet’s only hope in raising five daughters is that they will each find a husband who can provide for them a happy, and financially secure life. When word travels to the family that the neighborhood’s newly arrived and most handsome man, Mr. Bingley, is a bachelor, Elizabeth never expects to find herself tangled in the web of drama he seems to create. Distancing herself from the other girls vying for his attention, Elizabeth knows what she wants, and it is not Mr. Bingley. But what she doesn’t expect is the attraction that ensues after meeting the haughty Mr. Darcy, who she quickly realizes is not at all what he appears. When the chemistry between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy proves undeniable, she must cast aside her judgments—and her family’s protests— and let fate do the rest. Smart, outspoken, and adamant in her views, Elizabeth must come to accept that sometimes love has an agenda of its own. With an eye-catching new cover, and a cleanly typeset manuscript, this revised edition of Pride and Prejudice is both modern, and readable.

Book excerpt: Chosen by The Observer as a Fiction Pick for 2016 and described as a 'scintillating novel of ideas', Feeding Time is a debut like no other: a blast of rage against the dying of the light. Dot is losing the will to live. Tristan is sick of emptying bedpans. Cornish spends entire days barricaded in his office. And Ruggles... well. Ruggles is damn well going to escape those Nazi villains and get back to active duty. The mix is all the more combustible since Dot, Tristan, Cornish and Ruggles are all under the same roof – that of a rapidly declining old people's home called Green Oaks. There's going to be an explosion. It's going to be messy. And nobody knows who will pick up the pieces.

Book excerpt: BLESSED HENRY SUSO COLLECTION [2 BOOKS] — Quality Formatting and Value — Active Index, Multiple Table of Contents for all Books — Multiple Illustrations Henry Suso, O.P. (also called Amandus, a name adopted in his writings, and Heinrich Seuse in German), was a German Dominican friar and the most popular vernacular writer of the fourteenth century (when considering the number of surviving manuscripts). An important author in both Latin and Middle High German, he is also notable for defending Meister Eckhart's legacy after Eckhart was posthumously condemned for heresy in 1329. He died in Ulm on 25 January 1366, and was beatified by the Catholic Church in 1831. Suso was born Heinrich von Berg, a member of the ruling family of Berg. He was born in either the Free imperial city of Überlingen on Lake Constance or nearby Constance, on 21 March 1295, and perhaps on that date up to 1297. Later, out of humility and devotion to his mother, he took her family name, which was Sus (or Süs). At 13 years of age he was admitted to the novitiate of the Dominican Order at their priory in Constance. After completing that year of probation, he advanced to do his preparatory, philosophical, and theological studies there. —BOOKS— A LITTLE BOOK OF ETERNAL WISDOM THE LIFE OF BLESSED HENRY SUSO PUBLISHER: AETERNA PRESS
