Book excerpt: Dopo le formulazioni delle teorie di Newton e Maxwell sembrava che null'altro potesse scalfire il percorso intrapreso nella descrizione Fisica dei fenomeni naturali.Il principio di causalità descriveva bene i fenomeni elettromagnetici ed il moto dei corpi celesti, nel segno del determinismo.Con la formulazione della Teoria della relatività Einstein prosegue un percorso di descrizione dei fenomeni in movimento anche a velocità paragonabili a quelle della luce.Il cambiamento ha inizio con l'approfondimento e studi a livello atomico dove, Planck, Bohr, Einstein, abbandonano il concetto di continuità a favore dell'introduzione della quantizzazione della materia, continuando però ad interpretare i fenomeni sempre con un fondamento di tipo classico.Sarà necessario l'apporto dei giovani Heinsenberg e Schoidenger per abbandonare definitivamente l'interpretazione classica a fronte della stravolgente nuova interpretazione quantistica.La successiva formalizzazione della meccanica quantistica basata sull'algebra non commutativa, introdotta dal giovane Dirac prosegue il cammino verso il definitivo utilizzo della teoria quantistica nel mondo microscopico.Con la fisica quantistica si scopre un modo tutto nuovo di comportarsi della materia e della luce, nel regno del microcosmo.Grammaticalmente basterebbe invertire una consonante ed una vocale: passando dalla causalità alla casualità.Un atomo non è più costituito da elettroni orbitanti come pianeti, non possiede più una definita traiettoria con determinati valori di velocità e posizione.La fisica quantistica descrive il microcosmo prediligendo un'evoluzione della natura verso il disordine e l'incertezza, anziché il determinismo stabilito da causa-effetto, dominante nella fisica classica.Le particelle possono trasmettersi informazioni istantanee, oltre il limite della velocità della luce, imposto da Einstein con la formulazione della Teoria sulla Relatività Ristretta.La comprensione del comportamento della materia a livello atomico vi porterà a riflessioni importanti, ed a pensare che nulla di ciò che ci circonda può essere più interpretato con la sola deterministica razionalità. Per comprendere il favoloso mondo della fisica quantistica possono trovarsi centinaia di libri, che però il più delle volte o sono di carattere troppo divulgativo o sono trattati a livello universitario.Con la presente esposizione, invece, ho cercato di trattare i temi, in modo da far comprendere principalmente i concetti, senza però tralasciare le rigorose formule e dimostrazioni matematiche, con un linguaggio sufficiente ad essere interpretato con competenze matematiche e fisiche che si apprendono in un liceo.Il presente testo non si arroga la prerogativa di essere esaustivo nell'interpretazione della teoria quantistica, ma è certamente utile per acquisire nozioni al fine di poter comprendere in visione scientifica i testi in commercio di carattere divulgativo sull'argomento e comunque creare ottimi presupposti per futuri approfondimenti di carattere universitario.
