All four of these kinswomen are deceased. Since that time, however, and in fact, within the past few years, more information has been developed through the indefatigable efforts of Lydie Annie Hughes, granddaughter of Major John Hughes, Jr., H3, through his sixth son, James Neville Hughes, in which considerable new data have appeared in connection with the earlier records of the Cox, Crawford, Tarleton and Wood families.
